He caught 40 something balls from Bryce last year as bad as he was. It is possible for a player to develop believe it or not so I would hold off at least this season before writing him off as another training training camp star who can never translate to regular season. He didn't look as good last training camp as this one so far so could actually be development who knows but I'm not ready to write him off already just because he is having a good camp. The 1st round pick is a rookie who was in his first week of practice. My God. The second round pick never was going to play much this season especially training camp due to his injury/rehab and I do not think they were not aware of this. We weren't going to the super bowl this season anyhow hence some of the moves for players who have ti develop and some who have ti rehab an injury. These are next season and beyond pics they believe will be a huge part of the team moving forward with some development and injury rehab since we aren't winning the Superbowl this season anyhow. It as well gives Bryce a reason to show us what he can do or I have a feeling he could be out as starter or it in jeopardy next season also should he play poorly and we draft his replacement.

The scouting department should have just asked you then and problem solved for us since you have the answers and can predict who is successful moderately and who will not be moderately successful. So everyone had Chinn as being a star in the making after his rookie season and what he did but you knew different and knew that would be his only solid season with us correct? Why are you here and not working for an NFL team in scouting? Why waste time on us little people who always have our predictions wrong?

I dont know if its a matter of Bryce figuring out whether he can deep pass or not. It may simply be he is not capable of making those deep bomb throws we were used to seeing with young in his prime Cam.

Yeah he wasn't half bad. Got a couple sacks and disrupted a few plays in his career. During that hall of fame career he found time to eat Chris Simms spleen on the field after sacking him also I believe.

To me he still looks scared and shy to lead as well as limited in some abilities unfortunately. I hope it changes at some point in camp but we saw this last season as well so I'm afraid it's just the way things are with him. I hope second week of camp he comes out completely different but I am not banking on it at this point.

While I must admit I do not have much faith in our QB turning it around and at the tops of the league as a first overall pick should, I have to think the new RB once back to 100% and the new WR have a chance to be important pieces of the team for years to come with a little development in their rookie seasons. It's the first week of practice and would hold off judgement on a guy coming back from ACL surgery and a rookie WR struggling as most rookie WR's do. Our QB on the other hand in his second season still looking shaky this past week and pretty non aggressive pushing it downfield does majorly concern me as of course it did all last season. He just doesn't look like he is aggressive or motivated to lead as he should be to me personally.

He is a rookie in his first week of practice, holy poo with all the "He is no good" rhetoric from some of the responses on this thread. Plenty of solid players struggle inn camp their rookie season THE FIRST WEEK. He gets burned and pushed around enough, he will learn and one day will be the one doing the bullying on the field.

I would think he gets the full season no matter what to either show us he is developing or not. Either way he needs the full season so we can make a decision on him.

First practice jitters. Over the course of many months those who doubt him will lose all doubt. He is the real deal and will slowly prove it even with a bad first day by his standards.

He is just the same being a fun loving friendly never has anything but positive vibes country boy in person alone with no cameras on kinda guy. Im telling you from personal experience, if he gets this in the NFL he will turn into a franchise face, a team leader by example and a guy who always does the right thing no matter what. All he has to do is be who he is and go hard as he always does and his entire demeanor will be infectious to the entire team. He wont fail and will turn out in years to come better than many taken before him, I would stake almost anything on that.

I always liked him and hope he has great success and makes it to the NFL as a head coach one day if that is a future goal of his.

Im keeping hopes up as high as possible with each new year being like a rebirth but at this point im also being realistic and refuse to fool myself AGAIN so I am not let down AGAIN. I hope for a great turnaround but I certainly wont be putting any money on it and definitely not going to be surprised if its bad again and we are looking for our next franchise QB all over again as disappointing as it is to say.

I think most of those 35% probably just dont give a crap either way and probably filled out their surveys without reading the questions and or just paid no attention because we havent been any good in so long.
