  1. What if when Brooks comes back he is a human highlight reel and XL becomes a top 5 WR? Would you still be saying that?
  2. I will give you that I'm worried on many fronts about the immediate future of what we see on offense this season but I would probably wait till at least the half way point in the season before I could call this current 2024/25 roster and situation a steaming pile of dog poo. May be jumping the gun a little early there
  3. That a pretty good theory there that had not crossed my mind and makes sense as to their thought process.
  4. Ah yes, the guy I initially wanted after seeing all the BS hate he got because of him putting honey mustard in his hot chocolate or whatever the hell stupid reason he was supposedly a head case. He is going to be good I believe.
  5. I'm currently working with him trying to help him find a new team to grace with his presence after I saw his "say it to my face and see what happens" post to another guy on here the other day. It's still a work in progress and I don't think he likes me very much so I may not succeed or I may get beat up who knows......?
  6. How about Hanson and The Mario Brothers? It worked out pretty good for those brothers.
  7. Myself I would have loved to seen us draft Spencer Rattler later for insurance or to spin the wheel again. I realize he was drafted a little earlier but would have been worth it in my eyes to take that chance in case something happens to Bryce or he ultimately busts.
  8. That's it, cancel the season and move the team dammit. Somebody almost got a bottle rocket shot up their ass. San Antonio here we come!
  9. Still to early to judge him and I still say he is going to turn out to be a good one wait and see.
  10. All the "experts" chiming in now that just knew Coleman was the one all along. They should have hired all you guys as GM's and scouts instead I guess. And @flagfootballcoach28, aren't you the guy who was going to beat somebody up the other day for calling you a dummy? "Say it to my face and see what happens"? I kind of see you as the Conan The Barbarian of internet message boards. I didn't call you a dummy so please don't beat me up.
  11. True. Mine starts as blind optimism and then turns to humor when we begin to falter and look awful
  12. I realize Bryce did not play well last season but besides a very few who the hell did? If the o-line can block even decently, I want to hold out judgement and see how he does when he is not running for his life or being knocked on his ass every play. How will he do with adequate blocking and not a bunch of turnstiles like last season? I have no idea but I'm going to be hopeful again especially with a new coaching staff who seems like they actually give a crap and are motivated unlike the losers last year. Your leaders set the tone and can make all.teh differences in the world. Thee leaders seem to be very motivated unlike last season. Combine that with a little blocking and who knows what we end up with but I'm hopeful of something positive moving in the right direction.
  13. I do believe you may have hit the nail on the head there.
  14. Then........why even be a fan at this point? This season has more hope than many others just by a new coaching staff alone that seems to give a damn. I'm holding out judging my player or coach until I see what they can do this season. I think you may be surprised what a motivated coaching staff can do with some players we may have seen struggle last season
  15. I think he still has hope this season. If the o-line blocks decent for a change, I feel like Bryce can make something happen to where he warrants another year starting. I want to see him work behind an o-line that doesn't allow him to be put in the dirt every other snap and then evaluate how he plays.
  16. Nothing to read into yet in my opinion. Isn't the defense usually ahead of the offense at this early part of camp?
  17. I dont really care how you want to spin it, its the NFL so I expect professional. Tepper is what he is. I will at least have hope that he gets it this season and stays out of things. In other words sign the damn checks and get out of the way and allow the guys who "football" to "football". New coaching staff and im not going to poo on them before I ever even see a game coached by them so im going to assume they can develop and successfully coach players especially rookies as decent coaches are supposed to be able to do. Its really as simple as that.
  18. This is true but damn they are a PROFESSIONAL organization with PROFESSIONALS so I damn well expect players to develop and coaches to get them there. I realize I am expecting a lot by the turd we have seen the past number of years but holy poo we have to eventually get it right and get coaches that are worth a crap who can develop players and players with enough work ethic, care, and tenacity to want to develop and further themselves.
  19. ugh I forgot about that one!!! I dont think I can come up with another and that means you win.....If I can think of one today I will respond back to you! haha!
  20. This. What the hell and why would anyone have any problems what so ever with a one time dominant WR who had the most ferocious attitude I've ever seen on a WR helping a young WR he believes in? It can be nothing but a benefit either way.
  21. He was high on DJ and he turned out pretty darn good. So you would rather Steve Smith not attempt to help at all? Your thinking him even trying to help Mingo is a bad thing? Really makes no sense to me how this could be a bad thing at all and he could only offer Mingo help. Just because Steve Smith has not trained up a Jerry Rice does not make his input worthless I wouldn't think.
