I realize Bryce did not play well last season but besides a very few who the hell did? If the o-line can block even decently, I want to hold out judgement and see how he does when he is not running for his life or being knocked on his ass every play. How will he do with adequate blocking and not a bunch of turnstiles like last season? I have no idea but I'm going to be hopeful again especially with a new coaching staff who seems like they actually give a crap and are motivated unlike the losers last year. Your leaders set the tone and can make all.teh differences in the world. Thee leaders seem to be very motivated unlike last season. Combine that with a little blocking and who knows what we end up with but I'm hopeful of something positive moving in the right direction.

Then........why even be a fan at this point? This season has more hope than many others just by a new coaching staff alone that seems to give a damn. I'm holding out judging my player or coach until I see what they can do this season. I think you may be surprised what a motivated coaching staff can do with some players we may have seen struggle last season

I think he still has hope this season. If the o-line blocks decent for a change, I feel like Bryce can make something happen to where he warrants another year starting. I want to see him work behind an o-line that doesn't allow him to be put in the dirt every other snap and then evaluate how he plays.

Nothing to read into yet in my opinion. Isn't the defense usually ahead of the offense at this early part of camp?

I dont really care how you want to spin it, its the NFL so I expect professional. Tepper is what he is. I will at least have hope that he gets it this season and stays out of things. In other words sign the damn checks and get out of the way and allow the guys who "football" to "football". New coaching staff and im not going to poo on them before I ever even see a game coached by them so im going to assume they can develop and successfully coach players especially rookies as decent coaches are supposed to be able to do. Its really as simple as that.

This is true but damn they are a PROFESSIONAL organization with PROFESSIONALS so I damn well expect players to develop and coaches to get them there. I realize I am expecting a lot by the turd we have seen the past number of years but holy poo we have to eventually get it right and get coaches that are worth a crap who can develop players and players with enough work ethic, care, and tenacity to want to develop and further themselves.

He was high on DJ and he turned out pretty darn good. So you would rather Steve Smith not attempt to help at all? Your thinking him even trying to help Mingo is a bad thing? Really makes no sense to me how this could be a bad thing at all and he could only offer Mingo help. Just because Steve Smith has not trained up a Jerry Rice does not make his input worthless I wouldn't think.

He caught 40 something balls from Bryce last year as bad as he was. It is possible for a player to develop believe it or not so I would hold off at least this season before writing him off as another training training camp star who can never translate to regular season. He didn't look as good last training camp as this one so far so could actually be development who knows but I'm not ready to write him off already just because he is having a good camp. Doesn't know 23-10? Did you see how much of a loaded made to confuse question it was? It was done on purpose to get hot takes guys to laugh and freak out. This entire thing is such a jump to conclusions hot take before there has even been two weeks of training camp. If you hate being a fan so much then why are you here? 31 other NFL teams to choose from as well

The 1st round pick is a rookie who was in his first week of practice. My God. The second round pick never was going to play much this season especially training camp due to his injury/rehab and I do not think they were not aware of this. We weren't going to the super bowl this season anyhow hence some of the moves for players who have ti develop and some who have ti rehab an injury. These are next season and beyond pics they believe will be a huge part of the team moving forward with some development and injury rehab since we aren't winning the Superbowl this season anyhow. It as well gives Bryce a reason to show us what he can do or I have a feeling he could be out as starter or it in jeopardy next season also should he play poorly and we draft his replacement.

The scouting department should have just asked you then and problem solved for us since you have the answers and can predict who is successful moderately and who will not be moderately successful. So everyone had Chinn as being a star in the making after his rookie season and what he did but you knew different and knew that would be his only solid season with us correct? Why are you here and not working for an NFL team in scouting? Why waste time on us little people who always have our predictions wrong?

I dont know if its a matter of Bryce figuring out whether he can deep pass or not. It may simply be he is not capable of making those deep bomb throws we were used to seeing with young in his prime Cam.

Yeah he wasn't half bad. Got a couple sacks and disrupted a few plays in his career. During that hall of fame career he found time to eat Chris Simms spleen on the field after sacking him also I believe.

To me he still looks scared and shy to lead as well as limited in some abilities unfortunately. I hope it changes at some point in camp but we saw this last season as well so I'm afraid it's just the way things are with him. I hope second week of camp he comes out completely different but I am not banking on it at this point.

While I must admit I do not have much faith in our QB turning it around and at the tops of the league as a first overall pick should, I have to think the new RB once back to 100% and the new WR have a chance to be important pieces of the team for years to come with a little development in their rookie seasons. It's the first week of practice and would hold off judgement on a guy coming back from ACL surgery and a rookie WR struggling as most rookie WR's do. Our QB on the other hand in his second season still looking shaky this past week and pretty non aggressive pushing it downfield does majorly concern me as of course it did all last season. He just doesn't look like he is aggressive or motivated to lead as he should be to me personally.
