Last Decade of First Round Draft Picks
Ricky Prickles replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
How was Ginn not a win? He was a very solid deep threat with Cam throwing up him. I don't see how one couldn't claim him as a win of a singing. He wasn't going to set the world on fire as a possession receiver with good hands but one thing that guy did well was run for a bomb. -
For me it was either Matt Lefluer or Andy Reid

Hell yeah...Id hit it. Straight to pound town baby!

If Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders or Walter Payton came out next year and you knew what you knew about them after some research into them, would you not have a first round grade on either because they were RB's?

He had never heard of this message board but was aware of the doubters out there so he has apparently heard it from others but isnt phased and responded how id hoped using it to motivate him to prove he deserves where he was drafted. He never needed much motivation anyhow and is a self motivated fella but it came up in talk. I do believe from our conversation that he is going to catch on to all this sooner rather than later and make the fans proud of him but im biased as I said because ive known and genuinely cared about the good natured person he is for a few years now. He stuck out to me before anyone ever knew who he was in practice and after/before games watching how thankful he was to be there and how thankful he was to be looked up to by so many kids (my own being one of them). I have watched him many times over before he was ever known go way out of his way to be gracious, humble, soft spoken and respectful to so many. He is as genuine and legit of a good human being as they get. Now we just need him to get over the learning curve and believe in himself as he began to his last couple years in college. He is one of the hardest workers ive ever been around and that is no fluff piece.

Just standing out in the hot sun while the game was going on and chatting about life and how his adjustment has been so far. He has heard the doubters anyhow. Not a single bit of hard cringe there. He isn't a stranger I just met randomly at Taco Bell

I don't know what kind of legacy he will leave behind when he exits the team but he put in a hard days work and always played to the best of his ability from what I see. I don't think he took plays off or ever heard much negative about his attitude or work ethic so to me he will be remembered as an alumni who played hard for the team and seemed to be committed to this organization no matter if he was an all pro or not. Like him or not a team needs guys like him. Hard working team players who just got out and do their job without being a distraction or a hindrance to the team as a unit

Not to worry, I was with XL on the sidelines at his alma mater for a little while this weekend and showed him some of a couple of threads of a number of guys here bashing him in the thread to motivate him. I suggested he go prove some of these know it all armchair GMs wrong. He was positive about it as usual and just smiled saying "Im gonna put everything I got in it and do whatever it takes to help the team in any way I can". He has a learning curve but he will be okay I have a feeling. Brooks I do not know him and have never met him but seems like a motivated fella from what I read and looked very good last season so I think when he is back that he will be an important piece of the puzzle in the future also.

Was it Ken or Ked? I always thought his name was Ked. Ked is a weird name and kind of went with his trailer park country boy rapper thing he had going on I guess. Is he still around I wonder?

Panthers add four more to the practice squad

And a beer from me because I appreciate the feedback! -
Clemson is well known for playing cupcakes over the years. They got the reputation for a reason. Yep, they played a rough one this week which is wildly out of character for them so I guess they will play whoever they think will give them an easy win the next 5 or 6 weeks I suppose. I mean, it's not just me that feels it. Ask anyone who isn't a Clemson fan. Without a generational QB they aren't doing much damage anyhow. Their time is up now.

For the record when I was a kid that was one amazing flavor. As far as the Panthers go I would rather be a cautiously hopeful realist than just all out negative about anything and everything so pour me a little Kool aid since I know the story book ending is far from guaranteed
-
Uh oh, somebody must be a Clemson fan......Truth hurts and we all know about opinions so you got yours and the evidence and facts show me what mine are but thanks for playing
-
It would bring me joy to see that happen so I hope that is the case but Clemson has been great for playing one or two rough teams in the regular season then padding that record in the past with schools they feel are a "gimmie win" so I hope App destroys the hell out of them.

I will go with the floaters if I must choose. Sinking ass splatter (or depth charges if you will) statistically speaking causes more toilet clogs than the floaters due to more open real estate along the bottom dispense portal which frees up space for more exit speed and velocity during the actual flush or discarding of ass product for said turds. -
That's okay, Clemson will be back going strong and beating up on smaller schools like App. State and The Citadel starting next week. Play a couple decent teams a year and then go pad their record with non competition as is the formula up in tiger town.

Odd conversation I agree but I guess it beats posting political rants supporting one's own particular beliefs on the main forum when they get their thongs too far up their ass cracks as some others may be prone to do this time of year...... -

Its okay man, I don't think you are the worst poster here.... I think I am and I make every attempt to be when I can so that other guy is obviously wrong. I am the worst poster here by far and I am damn offended he mentioned you as that over me. That's a badge of honor. Dammit I am the worst of the worst here. I am worse than one of those cement boogers you have in your nose on a dry hot day that is just too far to reach with your finger and still stuck to your brain so you cant even blow it out. -

Mike Tyson has a soft voice too and was involved in a pretty masculine sport himself but it turned out okay for him I do believe.
