Official Panthers Bengals Andy Dalton revenge GameDay thread.
Ricky Prickles replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
That response was regarding Evero as DC and had nothing to do with XL. XL needs to catch his damn passes regardless and no excuse for drops at this level. Maybe one happens on occasion but two in a game is inexcusable. Friend and personal trainer or not he needs to catch the damn ball and if he seen this post he would probably agree with me. He will get it together and show his worth but no excuse for his drops. -

Typical pitchfork and torches in the air reaction to a loss. When we win he is good, when we lose he is awful. Yeah okay -
Bryce Young for Trevor Lawrence
Ricky Prickles replied to HardcoreHokie's topic in Carolina Panthers
That dude has a belt but it appears it isn't doing him any damn good. Must just be for aesthetics. Why is he holding out a couple Andrew Jacksons for? -
Cam Ward.....opinions (AKA A Thread About Shedeur Sanders)
Ricky Prickles replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
He was a decent goalie for sure but I really don't see any NFL team drafting him in any round to play football. Free agent tryout perhaps but what position? Isn't he getting a little old to start a career in football though?....What am I missing here? -
Bryce Young for Trevor Lawrence
Ricky Prickles replied to HardcoreHokie's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lawrence has at least proven he can QB an NFL team at some level even if he is now playing like a marginal NFL QB. The jags would never be dumb enough to make that trade and the Panthers would probably not want that huge contract right now. Trevor Lawrence still has hope to become what they initially thought but Bryce Young has shown almost that there is little to no hope for him in the NFL. -
That's okay as long as it wasn't Tim the tool man Taylor
-
I can't even fathom playing with Bryce as my QB anywhere on the offensive side of the ball. If my second contract depended on Bryce's leadership (Please take that C off his jersey because he has never earned it) and abilities, I would be requesting a trade ASAP so I can't blame anyone who grew quickly frustrated with his lack of NFL level QB abilities. That is the worst QB'ing I have ever seen personally. It made Clausen's skills look decent. I feel bad for him to a degree but at the same time football is a business and if someone cant hack it and puts the rest of the team at risk for second contracts and throwing hospital balls when he throws over 10 yards then its time to get him off the field and let someone with a mentality to be a QB at that level do it.

Oh it wasn't a spat. I was in a rush to get my kid this morning out the door for school and I was fooling with the site and saw his question. I didn't feel like explaining myself how I get that feeling so I just told him I was a carny. Seemed like the most simple answer. How I know though is working with him personally the past 3 years before anybody knew who he was and watching him grow as a player as well as seeing his insane work ethic day in and day out. Speaking to him a few weeks ago and hanging out at our alma mater during a home game on the sidelines I could see a very motivated young man to prove any skeptics wrong. I'm obviously biased due to our ties to the school and our history together but the guy is going to make a mark eventually and get acclimated day by day and week by week. The final judgement is not out on Mingo either. We shall see how he does with a different QB throwing his way. He is far from bust category yet no matter what some others may think already. Development sometimes takes the right situation around a player with the right support even with factoring in a players solid inner drive and work ethic.

Because I'm a god damn carnival psychic that's how. Good enough for you?

Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 3 win
Ricky Prickles replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Happy to see Chubba excelling. He appears to be the epitome of what a solid team player and leader is made up of. This guy definitely deserves a "C" on his jersey judging by how hard the runs and his effort put in. He should be a Panther for a number of years to come at the right price. Matt Rhule 's wife did a good job drafting him while all his many different coaches since he has been here have done a solid job combined in developing him but it took a solid coachable player in Chubba to do something with that coaching and better himself to improve as a player. By far one of my favorite Panthers who is a total Keep Pounding type guy. He is all effort and heart from what I see. -
I just want to know what has happened to Trevor Lawrence? I haven't taken the field against him but I've watched him very up close in college standing on the field as he worked his magic for Clemson (fug the tigers by the way). He showed every trait and aspect a true generational talent at QB has and though it was taught to me for 4 years playing at my alma mater to hate that university, I still had to watch and respect his game each time I saw him on the field a few feet from me working his craft. I met him a few times post game and always found the guy to be a humble easy going friendly fella as well so it made it hard for me to hate him as I was brought up in college as a player to do with anyone with our rivals. His first year was meh, his second he became the player I knew he would by admiring his gifts and abilities up close then last year he looked meh again but I was convinced it was because of a number of nagging injuries he suffered during the season. This season he is relatively healthy yet does not look like the top of the league can't miss generational QB that I knew he was in college. What is happening with Trevor?

But he could just be an asshole employee frustrated like you and I are who wants them to win as well ya never know. I cannot imagine being a wide receiver and having Bryce throwing me the football week in and week out running around back there scare for his life throwing hospital balls and check down 3 yarders all game because he is simply scared and shell shocked. I would probably be malcontent and pissed off as well. I feel like there was about to be a revolt in the locker room lead by guys like Thielen and Dionte Johnson because they were sick and tired of scared boy QB antics.
-
I'm trying to focus on the positive and hoping he has finally learned his lesson and stepping away from meddling micro managing douche canoe to just being an old fat guy owner who gets to run into the locker room afterwards and pat guys on the back for a job well done.

Must be nice to have a rookie QB first round pick actually look like he has a future and gives a flying fug when he plays........

Robert Hunt to Panthers fans at home next week
Ricky Prickles replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
I always wondered who the fugging nerds were that put brown paper bags on their heads to watch a game? My guess is they have never played a sport in their lives beyond middle school or rec league or they double down and use those paper bags when they get home to put over their ugly chick's faces before they bang those sows. -
I can confirm XL will be something. Hoping Mingo will too but XL will develop week by week you'll see
-
But you comment on the team. How come you are allowed to buy he is not?

After today... (Some fun little stats)
Ricky Prickles replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hopefully they could find a way with some moves in the offseason. -
Well, its not like he is going to just completely Bryce level fail out there all of a sudden. He wont light it up every single game but my god man, look at what we have been used to. I would say just take it a game at a time and try to get our young offensive guys some good development and have someone ready to go (Besides Bryce) if Dalton gets hurt or cant go.

if Chuba does not end up wanting HUGE money after this season, I would work to keep him here. He is not a superstar but he is consistently good and runs hard no matter what every chance he gets. He is a blue collar guy and a great roster is made up of guys like him. Even when Brooks comes back, Chuba deserves his fair share and chances.

Some of y’all were begging for Minshew as a vet QB
Ricky Prickles replied to MtnJax's topic in Carolina Panthers
Don't tell me, you "had it figured out the entire time" right? Let's just end the thread now and hire you as new GM. There's nothing wrong with Minshew. Nope, he didn't look like a star today but at least he isn't Bryce awful -
So at our 3rd game you literally want us to tank? You can't live as a franchise tanking every year by the third game and then no guarantees the picks you get by tanking and trading back for more picks even pan out in my opinion.
