  1. I strictly mean the receivers and o-line. The defense is definitely worse.
  2. The only thing is Dalton might be rusty. But this should be a much better team than was around him in his one start last season. I gotta believe that Thielen and his fellow receivers are relieved that a real life QB will be throwing the ball.
  3. Man, watching Bryce pass the ball is like listening to Coltrane...taking a dump in the crapper!
  4. Do it anyway, face the consequences later. He's gonna be fired anyway if this continues.
  5. I know he's a first time coach, but it's irresponsible to continue to play with no hope or inspiration. At least Dalton can throw downfield.
  6. I honestly feel bad for these players. Adam Thielen was so disappointed at the end of the season...and it's starting even worse so far.
  7. Wow! When Moton has the lowest rating of group, that's supposed to be a good day.
  8. Remember when Rhule and company blamed Teddy Bridgewater for all their problems that one season? Good times.
  9. I'm just gonna say...it doesn't help that the only preseason game BY played was that last one against backup players.
  10. One thing I've always said: You get Bryce to the red zone, he'll get a TD.
  11. I can't watch the game, so have have to watch the stupid gamecast. But did Bryce looks as good as it seemed on the cast?
  12. I guess I'm confused. If ANYONE needs to play, it's Bryce. What's the coach afraid of?
  13. I literally fell asleep during this game. But I am reaching that age now....
  14. This NFL Network broadcast sucks. I get it's the Patriots announcers, but they're not even bothering to mention any Panthers by name so far.
  15. I'm just not a fan of these "off schedule" QBs. I saw a couple of analysts on ESPN claim Williams' play dipped last season because his o-line and receivers were bad. But explain to me why his back up QB threw 6 TD's (over 300 yds) in a bowl game against an allegedly superior Louisville team if those disadvantages were real. We'll see.
  16. I like it a lot. Pretty much the best we can hope for.
  17. I always thought he was overrated coming out of college...but I'm happy to have him here.
  18. Sad about this. Watch him thrive in Washington. I will also miss Bozeman and his (and wife's) positivity. But this is what happens amidst disaster.
  19. Is this a Renfrow thread or an AT thread? LOL 6 fumbles in 5 years, at least 1 each of the last 4. Lost 4 of those fumbles. No thanks.
  20. My hat's off to Dante. Some may differ, but while great CBs came and went, others disappointed, others stay injured...Dante held the position down. His own injuries started to take their toll, but even when he played on a bad toe a couple of years ago, he was effective.
  21. Exactly. The skills are undeniable. The attitude and competitive nature are highly questionable.
  22. I don't like that Caleb played worse this year than last. I don't like that he declined to play the Bowl game, and his replacement absolutely KILLED it in his stead. I don't like that he's declining the medical exam. Maybe afraid his blood test will show something? I don't like he's declining to throw at the combine. The only top QB to decline last year from throwing was Bryce. Not a great precedent.
  23. Things I would do: - Respectfully let go of Burns. Our D was decent even as he had an off season. Haynes, Barno, YGM can fill the gaps. - Don't waste money on another LT. Open competition between BC and Icky. If BC looks better at LT, he starts at LT. - Spend whatever I can on a #1 WR! There's a whole lot more to do, of course, but I'd start there.
  24. I'll say this. Watching Baker this season really pissed me off, because he didn't look CLOSE to that good for us last season. Well...We get his OC and his QB Coach, so...
