Pettersson - oh wait they don't have him yet - I'll go with Staal to make up for that horrible error

I just don't get it - Aho, Svech, Necas and Jarvy all craping the bed at the same time - that's got to be on the coaching. We all hoped Kooch would develop into the goalie of the future but I have serious doubts about that. And that stupid revenge move offer sheet to KK that caused us to part ways with Trocheck was the worst blunder of all.

We've seen enough of Kooch to know he is too widely inconsistent to be an everyday goalie, and what's up with all our studs - they look like duds.

They have an opportunity to make a statement this weekend. Are they the cup contending team we say early in the year or are they fringe wildcard team we’ve seen over the past few weeks.
right now they are both!!!

Jeckel and Hyde team right now - how can they be shut down dominate on one night and look like crap against a bad team next game? I think it's more a lack of focus for some reason, maybe too many mixed up line combinations, and the D-men need to commit every game. Are these guys coddled too much? Light a fire under their ass and get them to buy in every game and they could still surprise us. Also get a capable goalie to go with Kooch, Freddie will come back and just get hurt again.

Interesting to see what version of Kooch we get - let's hope it's the good one.

We need some different energy. Canes start a 4 game home stand against winnable opponents. Great opportunity to regroup and get back to playing our unique style of hockey.
Would love to see Rod put the defensive pairings into a blender as unlikely as that is.
thinking the same thing - Burns bad play is killing Slavin, Ghost is far from shut down mode, that being said maybe that's why Rod is juggling the lines so much - trying to cover for the defense.
