  1. Look how sweaty he is. We should measure how much sweat Young v Stroud had on their pro day. /s Seriously tho can't wait till Carolina picks. Whoever they choose. I don't care who it is. Just let the madness stop.
  2. Carolina war-room was definitely briefed not to say a word on who they're going for. I'm sure all staff are under NDAs. The only info leaking is what they want to leak. If it's truly anything actually leaking.
  3. All these pundits don't know a dang thing about what's going on in the clubhouse
  4. Getting to over 200 doesn't show that you can carry it. He didn't weigh in at his pro day. If he kept the weight he would've weighed in again.
  5. AR15 at #1 would be a huge gamble. They already gambled picks and a player away. I don't seem them taking that risk on an unproven player that only has 13 starts in college with very inconsistent play even with the amount of potential upside.
  6. Also, his momentum was already going down from the slide so that lessoned the impact. Getting hit on the blindside by a guy that weighs 100 pounds more while getting driven to the ground from an upright position is going to feel a bit different for sure.
  7. If we pick Bryce Young I'll be holding my breath on every hit. Dude is smaller than me. He couldn't hold 204 lbs from the combine to his pro day.
  8. It seems like pundits that actually played the position in the NFL usually appreciate CJ's skill-set over others in the draft. He does a good job at the end of the video explaining why he's high on Stroud.
  9. Part 2 Kurt Warner on CJ Stroud https://youtu.be/LSa718Af5R0
  10. When I watch pundits talk about this draft it's usually the ones that have never played QB that promote Young. Then when I listen to people that have actually played the position they usually fall in love with Stroud. I'd bet that the front office staff is the same way.
  11. Another breakdown of Stroud from Kurt Warner
  12. True that. Hopefully whoever they pick ends up being the best of any QB in the class either way.
  13. It's hard for me to think they'd draft a guy #1 to have him sit for a season to train him from the ground up. They already gambled picks and players. It would be hard for me to imagine them doubling down on another gamble to select AR #1 overall.
  14. I'm just ready for the draft to happen. There are people entrenched on both players, and nobody will know who's right until 3 years down the road anyway.
  15. I'll be happy when the day comes, and the pick is in, and I don't have to read any Young vs Stroud draft content again.
  16. I'll take film all day over advanced metrics. Stroud can put the ball in spots where Young can't. Especially on deep outs. From the pocket as well.
  17. I see positives in Stroud and also Young. The only thing that scares me about Young's style of play is that the NFL is a different animal than the SEC. Some of the cute (awesome) plays that he could make in college won't be there in the NFL so you have to deduct some of his stock off for that. I'm intrigued by Stoud's pre-snap abilities and if that's something that the team feels they can coach up. pre-snap seems like there area where Young has the advantage right now.
  18. Anyone picking their QB based off of a 40 time should probably go back to the drawing board as an evaluator. BTW the ball travels much faster and more efficiently in the air without nearly as many injuries.
  19. Simms breaks it down exactly the way I've seen it. The comparison with Burrow/Stroud sticks out to me considering the talent level they both have had surrounding them in college.
