Yeah that Millen fact is surprising.

Lol he wasn't one of the worst. 2 championship game appearances, 1 SB appearance. Put together great defenses and offensive lines. Picked up good free agents. Dumpster dived like Gettleman and found Jake Delhomme. Those mid 2000's Panther teams could have been special if not for injuries to key players. He only had one truly awful year.

Let's pretend the scraps weren't one of the main reasons we sucked early in the season. Cason (Our supposed #1 going) Decoud Cotchery Avant Honestly I only want us to target a decent/cheap wr. I'm tired of not being able to overcome 17 point leads. The rest of the holes can be addressed in the draft or after.

Nothing bad about it if it's meant to upgrade ST. Writers are saying it's a wr move though.

Last year was an anomaly. Usually it takes time for rookie wide receivers to learn the playbook. It's also not certain we'll take one in the 1st round. I'm not saying sign a guy like T. Smith. Carolina should target a wr like Denarius Moore. Someone cheap that has good potential.

Can't rely on rookie WR's. Most don't pan out early.

I'd take a tier 4 at this point. Boykin is a tier 8 receiver.
