Likely Stankoven on the third line. He can skate and I won’t be surprised if he does more for the team than Rantanen did in 13 games.

Trading a 6-4 winger for a 5-8 one. Still Mikko just didn’t fit Carolina’s style, not a real two way player but a position and shoot guy. I’m not addressing if Canes style will win a Stanley cup. Interesting comments:

Sounds like we may be trading again with a draft pick or two we picked up.

Looks like those reporters who cover the Canes have better insight than the TSN crowed. .

Stars offer of $12M AAV on Rantanen extension 'well short,' Hurricanes exploring elsewhere https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/dallas-stars-offer-of-12m-aav-on-rantanen-extension-well-short-in-trade-talks-with-hurricanes-1.2266728

Now Mikko is holding out on a Dallas trade over contract extension. He’s going to fug Canes over one way or another it appears. What we don’t need is a lame duck protecting his health for the free agent market, after paying the price of Necas and Drury for nothing.

About time we won a game on puck bounces and stick breaks. Finally some puck love. We’ll take it!

Well we finally go the bounces tonight in a rough game. But now offsides grrr

Rod needs to wake the boys up for the 3rd. Poor passes and passing up shots them giving it away.

Moose playing, Stillman in for Orlov late scratch.

Haven’t seen him since he took a little heat for this post. I think he took his puck and went home. We all need to stick with hockey, maybe he’ll show back up, I appreciate his hockey analysis.

Big game for sure. Red Wings lost their last two games and playing at home so they will be pushing hard. Canes will have to bring their best to win.
