Man I’m not going to judge a player on a two videos showing two bad plays. I would take Nylander’s playoff stats any day: Here’s Nylanders 2022-2023 season highlights. Yep, I would take this player any day.

Not sure where a reddit video is I don’t go there. I look at youtube videos. Always look at several. And I look at stats. and if you wouldn’t take a forward with Nylander stats well not much more I can say haha.

Plus minus is a worthless stat, same player can be -20 on one team and +25 on another. Im not saying get Nylander but I wouldn’t complain if we did. He would just have to play Rods system. And complain about his defense? Well how about Karlsson who has one of the lowest defense ratings in the nhl and yet he’s an actual defenseman!

I don’t know. wish he would be. Talk of them letting him ride with no extension to have a chance at the cup. I guess they would have to dump money somewhere else if cap space is an issue. That’s quite a gamble though because they would no longer have trade value in him after next season when he becomes a UFA.

I doubt we have a chance to get Nylander. The bigger point as KillerKat quoted the stats from the article is Canes are missing offensive firepower. And Karlsson sure as hell isn’t the answer to that. Just watched the videos, yep some cheap shots to the head, and he bit Tkachuck and got a 5 game suspension for that lol. But he is a bonafide goon too, dropping them gloves on Wilson, Gudas and a bunch of others. Definitely your throwback enforcer who goes in to pay back targeting of Aho or other and then walks to the dressing room on a major lol. He does have some skills though and decent shot.

Haha I thought the true goon era was over. Maybe not. Aho was definitely targeted in the playoffs, might not be a bad idea for a guy who can apply rules rhar the officials don’t seem to enforce m.

You have to be careful about changing the chemistry of a team already close to winning a cup. I like our signings thus far. Still hold the opinion we needed a scoring forward and maybe bunting is good enough, another would be great. Tinker too much with an excellent defense at your own risk. We should know soon enough when the season begins if any more trades were wise. No scoring forward at the TDA doesn’t give me as much confidence in GM as some of you guys.

Yeah looks like a Pesce trade is going to happen. Have no idea what is going down but it better be worth it.
