Yeah he converted some 70%+ of his passes then those 3 interceptions and fumbles.

Allen graded himself

Processing skills on a computer test vs real world game day processing skills. I’ll go with game day and expect Young to improve over time, not impressed with 1st game processing skills.

Respect your ratings. As far as the sacks go, I attribute most of it to how long Young held onto the ball. My QB and all my ratings were just for how they played for this game. I certainly expect Young to get better with more experience and practice, but he needs WR help and the timing was atrocious (half on WR half on Young).

My Panthers Game Grades (repeated from main thread) OL - A. Especially with Young holding on to the ball so long during pass plays. QB - D. 10 for 38, 1 TD, 2 Int., 1 fumble (recovered), overthrows, underthrows. WR-F. Couldn’t get separation against my grandmother. Hurst (TE)- A. Defense- C+

It’s like going to a broadway show like Les Miserables but you picked the night where the main actors are being subbed….

Well our receivers can’t get open anyway, makes it even harder with easy to predict calls like run to the sidelines. -

That settled it. Luton’s our man. If you’re gonna lose, lose big. -

If there are any more moves I would expect it to happen before training camp start on Sept 22. I honestly don’t see any more big moves coming, will be a surprise to me if it happens. Big trade days are over imho.

Where are we watching games this season?
DavidEng replied to lightsout's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
I would rate AppleTV MLB coverage for the Braves game I saw as “ok” but that’s in comparison to Ballys coverage. I’m not a soccer fan so not much interest in them. Also don’t like big corps owning everything. -

I did a free 7 day trial of apple just to watch a braves game lol. There was one series i liked, the silo. so i binge watched it. Other than that I thought the limited choices of shows (very little sports) sucked. -
All Your Defensemen Belong To Us - Canes Sign Caleb Jones
DavidEng replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
I don’t get it either. -
Agree, and let’s not forget Marty Necas breakout reg season with 28 G and a team leading 71 points. Bunting had 23 G 49 P last reg season that should help as well. Turbo just did not look healthy to me for much of the latter part of the season. I hope he’s fully recovered from whatever was sapping his energy.

I remembered that quote because it made me laugh. Rod ribbing the boss haha
-
Rod quoted in the article: “So, yes, you gotta be treated fairly. I know Tom’s a business guy. If he can get somebody for a nickel, he’s gonna do it, right? (Laughs.) I’m sure we’ll work all that out at some point.” Funny but true. Dundon knows Rod is key to the Canes success and therefore his earnings, so I believe he will come through with a fair contract. He better lol
-
Rod definitely deserves to be at or near the top of nhl coaches salaries.
-
Yeah to me that Twitter post sounds questionable. He ended up with a 1 year $5mil contract from the Senators. https://www.nhl.com/senators/news/ottawa-senators-sign-forward-vladimir-tarasenko-to-a-one-year-contract/c-345453898
