Canes looking good early, some nice shot attempts. Turbo just scored wooo!!!
-
I really don’t know, finding line combinations that work best but I thought we were close to there already. Svech is playing hard but not back 100% on offense.
-
That’s a wrap. Boo.
-
Canes only 3 SOG this period to panthers 8. Not our usual
-
Yeah it wasn’t - bah
-
High stick if it hold whew
-
Both Canes goals were rebounds, bounce it off Bob with net front and put ‘er in boys.
-
Sounds like a plan lol
-
Svech in the box. Get a shortie and tie this.

Frustrating game playing from behind again

Canes battling hard for the puck, they went this!

Let’s open up Bob early!

Martinook interview, you can tell the Canes want this one after last years playoffs vs Flahdah. Get the win boys!

Tepper shaking his head at this poo

Wow they actually broke a 1st and 30. Nice.
-
Exactly. That way they know we’re going to pass on 2nd down. Strategery.
-
1st and 30. We got this.
-
I could tell they split it up and this was obviously the negative thoughts thread because you can’t even tell the Panthers are ahead lol.
-
Panthers playing Clemson, nice.

Here’s an article about Drury apparently reaching a plateau with the Canes. Also an interesting comment about Jordan Staal at the end. Staal represents the Canes and is a bit of a legend in my mind. However I do believe he’s lost a step in speed and stamina as he’s aged. I noticed it last year but even more this year. Not to say he’s not an asset anymore, his defense is still pretty good, just not what it was a few years ago and his shots are off as well. I’m sure I’ll get some disagreements, just my opinion. https://cardiaccane.com/2023/11/09/76168/

Correction - @Harbingersprovided this response in the Buffalo thread: “Yes his old gear is his Brian’s. Which Tripp at least claims is his “lighter” gear.” So I appear to have been mistaken as to which gear was lighter. Thanks Harbingers.
-
Hmmm … I thought his older gear was the Brian’s .. maybe need to investigate more.

Some discussions as to whether Antti Raanta was wearing his old leg pads or new lighter gear in the game against Buffalo. I found a photo that proves he was wearing his custom Brian’s Iconik leg pads and not his reported lighter weight Baeur Vapor HyperLite leg pads. You can see the logos if you zoom in on the first photo. Here is a link stating Raanta also uses the Baeur Vapor HyperLite leg Pads - https://www.geargeek.com/team/carolina-hurricanes/antti-raanta Of course both brands are customized for Raanta’s desired color scheme.
