Agree, and let’s not forget Marty Necas breakout reg season with 28 G and a team leading 71 points. Bunting had 23 G 49 P last reg season that should help as well. Turbo just did not look healthy to me for much of the latter part of the season. I hope he’s fully recovered from whatever was sapping his energy.

If correct that the Canes offer was less than $4mil this easily explains why Tarasenko went elsewhere. Can’t blame him for that.

Yeah the Tarasenko trade drama turned me off on him a bit. Interestingly, the Canes first regular season home game is against the Sens. A chance for the Canes to show him we didn’t need him lol. Here’s to a Canes win!

Well you are correct about the dates on Shayna’s post and the agents firing I checked. But you have no proof that they were just waiting on the contact-a press release is not a contract. In any case I’m good if you see Shayna as reliable, maybe she usually is. But my goodness just admit it. Shayna was wrong. No. Shayna called it wrong period. No proof they were just waiting on docs to be sent. Tarasenko fired his agent many days after Shaynas post.

Maybe I’m the only one, but Im not waiting on a Pesce trade because I don’t want to see him traded. If it happens it happens but not something I want or think the Canes need to do. When Svech is healthy enough to play and with some of our guys already improving. along with Orlov and Bunting we’ve a solid cup contender.

Happened sooner than expected but the early calls were right this time, As opposed to shayna’s Tarasenko to the Canes misfire weeks ago. “She’s reliable” as I remember reading here lol.

I was thinking along the lines of Pesce and perhaps another and bringing in Karlsson to play RD. Not what I would want to see Orlov plays LD so unless he’s good at either side not sure he would be put on RD as a Pesce replacement. DeAngelo does play RD as well so yeah you could play him there if Pesce was traded for a forward.
