You tend to call any goal against the canes a soft goal it seems. A breakaway shot is indeed a grade A chance.

Typo, should have been he stopped 18 of 20.

He was beat on two breakaways, those are hardly “soft goals”. Should have closed the five hole and stopped the last one. He held it to less than the opposing goalie so we won. Stopped 19 of 20 that’s a .900 SV%. No one claimed he was elite but he’s not terrible either.

Suzuki clears Kootchie’s loose change. Say what you will Kootch is a wild man and brings excitement to the game. I’m good with him as long as he holds opp to no more than 2 goals he’s done his job, then it’s up to the Canes offense to do their job.
