I doubt anyone thinks like that either. You sure make a lot of assumptions about folks lol. Canes are currently ranked 9th in the league. It will be a major challenge to win a cup as it stands now. Any advantage we can get with a trade is a plus.

one of the best two periods i’ve seen the canes play this season followed by the absolute worst 3rd, allowed 5 goals wtf.

canes have this tendency to let up when they have a lead, owned the first 2 periods and put it on cruise control at a time you know the other team would be playing hard.
