    Kucci was outstanding in net, 41 saves out of 44 SOG, a .932 save percentage. The offense came alive! What an exciting game and win!

    What an offensive show by the Leafs 2nd period. How to shut this down and play on Canes offensive zone is the question that has to be answered.

    Sabres beat Devils 5-4, nice. This leaves Canes 2 points ahead with 2 games in hand.

    Devils defensive breakdowns and great passes by the Sabers lead to 2 on 1 grade As, those can’t be blamed on the goalie.

    Sabres 3-1, Devils changing goalies already in the 1st lol

    Sabres score 2 goals 39 seconds apart to go up 2-0 over the Devils in the 1st.

    Going in I figured 1 of 2 with rags and 3 of 5 from rags to TB would be playoff quality hockey with these top teams. Won’t be easy for sure.

    Have to be proud of our defensive plays like this

    Next three games should tell us more but as it stands now our defense is top of the league by far imho, and Freddie seems to be settling in nicely. But you can’t win on defense alone. So work on shots boys if you want to win this whole thing, you can’t just rely on Aho and Neces alone.

    Exactly! Instead of shooting when we had grade A’s we were passing hoping for a better open net, and the passes got blocked.

    Yep, if we can’t pick up the scoring not gonna go far in the playoffs. Sure we had a lot of shots but no where near the number of grade As the rags had. There net front defense was very good and our passes aren’t getting through, we should have taken more shots and fewer passes in front of the net.
