    Chatfield just missed an open net, tough day on the ice for the Canes, can’t seem to buy a goal.

    Canes could be down 2 right now with all the grade A’s they’re giving up. Kucci doing a good job in net.

    Big game. Without Svech and Paci, we’re really the underdogs against a lot of these good teams, so others will have to step up as they have been doing.Prediction - Aho to continue his scoring/points streak.

    If Canes win tomorrow they will have gone 3-1-1 in the 5 top team games NYR (twice), Leafs, Bruins and Lightning. That’s playoff quality play. If they lose all bets are off lol.

    Whooo! It was 2-1 in the third until Palmari scores again with 4:30ish minutes left making it 3-1. 2 empty netters later and Islanders win 5-1. Sorokin stopped 35 of 36 shots for the Islanders. Canes 3 points ahead of NJD with 2 games in hand, looking good!

    That was the worst 2nd period I’ve seen the Canes play this season. Bruins skated circles around us, we looked slow and Bruins just blew through the blue line. Whatever performance enhancing drugs the Bruins we’re using wore off in the third lol. Canes looked like the best team by far in the third scoring twice to tie the game.

    Glad I didn’t make any predictions for the OT and shootout lol

    The OT point puts us 3 points ahead of NJD, even if they beat the Islanders tomorrow we’ll still be up a point and have two games in hand. Freddie and our offense at least gave us that with excellent play in the third. After how it looked after two I’m well satisfied with that.

    Looking a little better at the end of 1. Really fortunate to only be down by 1 with all the bruins breakaways, and that’s due to Freddie’s good play.
