While I guess things could change I have gotten zero sense that the Panthers are planning on seriously pursuing Carr or any other high priced vet QB. If anything they might kick the tires and do some due diligence but that’s the extent
The plan since Reich’s hiring and all the staff brought in since have been about drafting and developing their own franchise quarterback. I don’t know where others are “hearing” things but at this point it’s much more likely to trade up in the draft than sign or trade for a current signal caller.

In terms of Carr? Haven’t heard anything regarding him specifically. The staff has definitely been put together diligently with an emphasis on coaches who can bring along a young QB though.

I read somewhere else that Campen has experience as a run game coordinator so he could take on both OL and run game duties.
Thomas Brown would be a nice fallback option too, but if the Bucs want him they can offer playcalling since Bowles wouldn't be involved there.
Staley has been named AHC and RB coach in the building. I don’t know why this hasn’t been more widely reported yet but it would be very improbable he’s named OC.

Yes I’m the original Crown and Claw. CH just won’t send me the link to validate and locked me out. Apparently you guys hate breaking news….
However….I cannot reveal all specifics at this time due to possible ripple effect but a major contributor to Jeff Saturday’s offensive staff is expected to join the Panthers as passing game coordinator. And yes there is another Carolina reunion of sorts involved

Sorry everyone. Not sure what happened. Reliable source had it as Nixon, guess it was more fluid than I was told.
