  1. Also "There is no specific protocol you need to take in order to retire. To be considered officially retired, you must be without a contract for a year from the expiration/termination of your last contract. From that one-year date, you are now officially retired and a notice will be sent to the NFL." https://nflpa.com/former-players/faq/how-do-i-officially-retire#:~:text=There is no specific protocol you need, notice will be sent to the NFL. Cam hasn't been on a team in almost 4 NFL seasons. Hope you have a nice rest of your Sunday and don't forget to take your medication.
  2. Seems like you are projecting your lack of intelligence with a post like this. But go off princess you aren't bothering anyone
  3. He hasn't played on a team in almost 4 NFL seasons you guys. Plenty of players don't ever "officially " retire. That is a very poor excuse.
  4. Would have been nice to get more than a 5th but that isn't realistic. He's a FA next year. We are 1-7 what is the point in keeping him this year? Better to get something vs watching him walk for nothing
  5. We'll never have a leader at the position quite like Cam. He bled and shed tears for this team and did everything he could to try and turn us into a consistent winner. What a terrible way his tenure here ended, and what could have been had we just kept him and allowed him to get healthy. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DBmO88Ty_As/?igsh=ZTJqZWp6azJuc2dq
  6. Yea but like why are we waiting until the final drive of the half down 2 Tds to start trying to make these kind of throws. Bryce just simply doesn't have it at this level and I think DC knows this
  7. By making sure the few NFL Quality players that we do have stay nice and hydrated with that high quality H2O
  8. Steve Smith not being in already is an absolute travesty.
  9. Eh, idk if I'd call him a consistent 10 sack per season guy he's never had 10 sacks in a season in his career lol he's come close 9.5 twice and 9 twice but I wouldn't call that consistent. He's a solid role player like others have said he's a nice piece to have but he can't be the best player on your dline and if he is your dline probably isn't worth a fug
  10. I don't buy the weak arm argument. Cam could still play but it won't happen unfortunately
  11. Maybe I'm wrong but i feel like CB is the only position on defense we've had solid play at. Safety, Lb, and Dline on the other hand...
  12. Yep he's one thats stood out while watching the game for all the wrong reasons. Gotta think he gets benched/cut
  13. Absolutely. Can't go into next offseason with Bryce, Dalton, and Plummer again. Need to get 1-2 additional prospects, hopefully a highish draft pick to compete with those guys.
  14. Him being bad last year isnt the problem. You can't argue last years offense was as good as this years offense. It wasn't. The regression this year from last year is what made this situation so bad. But Yes there isn't a doubt that currently Bryce isn't good enough or "ready" for the NFL. Looks like it's going to take some time or multiple seasons of him sitting and learning before he's ready and even then its no guarantee. As far as his status on this team in the future its anyones guess. I'm definitely all for cutting bait and moving on BUT considering what all we gave up to pick him it wouldn't surprise me if he was given another offseason to get it together.
  15. Shaq was a good player for us. Maybe he wasn't considered a "great" but definitely a leader on our team. Sucks if this is how it ends for him but that's life in the NFL. I hope he fully recovers and is able to enjoy the rest of his life pain free. Have to think this is the end for him
  16. Hes not happy with the Jets because he hasn't been paid. We have no money to give him plus he's 30...we'd have to trade draft capital AND shell out a good amount of cash to get him to play. Unfortunately this is the bed we've made and no one is coming to save us this season. I'm hoping for a few exciting wins as long as Dalton stays healthy I just don't think there's anyway we compete for the division but we'll see
  17. Only way Bryce should see the field again this season is if 1. Dalton gets hurt and we are unable to find a worthy replacement 2. Season is lost and we're out of the playoff hunt. Time to see what we have going into next season. If he has to sit the rest of the year then so be it, he'll have another offseason in the same system in back to back years, we bring in more competition at QB ala FA/Draft and may the best man win.
  18. Same. I was also shocked to see he regressed from even last years standards. Damn shame. Glad we still have Dalton on the roster
  19. Thielen has probably the best hands on the team. That definitely hurts. Hopefully one of the younger guys can step up. Would love to see JT Sanders get more involved in the pass game
  20. Yea Reich might still have a job if he were allowed to play Dalton. In all likelihood Reich got screwed. He was forced to work with a bunch of people he never worked with before and likely wasn't allowed to have his pick at QB either. We won't ever know forsure unless someone from that staff speaks up but the fact he only lasted 11 games means some version of that is probably true
  21. Yea but the thing is though that even if Dalton played and had a good season what good does that do us? I'm glad things went the way they did we found out early that Bryce is not it for us at QB and we actually have a coach who isn't afraid to make a change. Now we get to rip the band aid off early vs coddling him only to still find out hes not an NFL QB down the road. It sucks to have gone through last season + 2 games this season but at the same time we got to find out early what type of QB Bryce could be for us and unfortunately its not an NFL one. I was always willing to give him a mulligan for last season but the regression we saw from Young to start the year was inexcusable. Hopefully we move on completely and won't have to watch Brucey play another down of Panthers football.
  22. There is no excuse for Brucey to be worse than he was last year. He's like a deer in headlights with an *upgraded* but not perfect offense around him. He had an entire offseason to prepare which he decided to not use to his advantage and yet here we are still the worst team in the NFL through 2 weeks and it isn't close. There's no spark. And unfortunately being the #1 overall pick who had a bad rookie season he was going to be relied on in some part to provide that spark or show us something. Long story short, If Brucey had the "it" factor it would have shown up already unfortunately he's just not a gamer at the NFL level. It doesn't even have to show up through winning football games. Cams 1st 2 seasons we went 6-10 and 7-9. But there were plenty of games where he showed that we had something special even though he was considered an outlier at the QB position at the time. It's the complete opposite with Brucey. I put a lot of blame on the operations side of things for the reason everything sucked last year. But with a new young coach who is hungry to prove his mettle and who has also overseen successful offenses in the NFL and a front office who spent considerable amount of assets upgrading the offense from last year and we are STILL the 32/32 offense in the NFL the reason has got to be the only constant on offense the last 2 seasons. The QB.
  23. It's not even about winning though. It's about looking the part and doing your job and Young has failed at both through the first 2 weeks. There's no excuse for him to be even worse than last year. None.
