HE'S GOT A SMALL ASS, HE'S GOT NO ASS. -
The fact that Stroud isn't in it makes me give it a second glance. I'm sure he was offered, but I wondered why he wouldn't acept.

Who Wears What Number? (Future/change of pace thread)
SaltAndPepper replied to Panthercougar68's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would love for Richardson to have 1, and bryce or cj to wear 5. I always thought 5 was a good qb number. -
Even if he does dominate the sport to where he is a consistent top 5 qb every week, how does he change the game exactly? If he dominates, will the NFL all of a sudden value a smaller height over a bigger one? Will it all of a sudden place playmaking on a higher pedestal than tangibles like arm strength and accuracy or intangibles like leadership? No. There's a reason, outside of Michael Vick, and Patrick Mahomes, has the QB position evolved, and honestly, this feels like the QB position's final form. The running, magic creating playmaker who can get it to your receivers. If you want to say Bryce Young is another example of this new type of QB, you got me, but to otherwise say Bryce Young is going to usher a new type of QB. No. We're already at the final form.

That was him, but I'm guessing ESPN told him "Hey! Post a new #1! We need to talk about something new!"

Andy Dalton was a productive starter and a multiple time pro bowler. He was a good QB in the mid 2010s, and I'm pretty sure this franchise it's only tie because of him.

So basically we have no idea who will be drafted

I don't know why, and this is totally unfounded and solely my opinion, but CJ stroud gives me Kirk Cousins vibes and I haven't the slightest clue why. -

Well if it's between stroud and young, I expect young. -
I'm surprised no one has mentioned pink panthers unis yet.

Hello my friends. If the FO and the CS (coaching staff) were to stay at an impasse through the draft, with... say Reich and Co wanting CJ Stroud and the FO wanting... say... Bryce Young, who would Tepper side with and break the tie with? Will he side with Reich and say "Stroud is CAR bound?" or will he side with Fitt and say "Young makes me feel young. Pick him."

I could be wrong, but has there ever been a more spirited debate in franchise history?
