  1. Teddy has made so many of you think we are way worse than we actually are. Fix that position and you'll see where we really stand.
  2. Because a coach got blinded by his rose colored glasses and thought he was something greater than he actually was.
  3. Also the shelf life of elite RBs has not been good for the past decade or 2. They usually fall off the face of the earth after their 4th or 5th year. CMC is entering year 5 right now.
  4. "Teddy has always been a team first guy" *Checks down every game to protect his precious completion percentage* *Throws coaches under the bus* *Is chummy with the opposing team* Yeah, sure.
  5. I can't read the damn observer articles, but from what I remember, Teddy changed his tone the next day perhaps after getting spanked by the coaches. Still the quote you posted is a whole lot of deflecting.
  6. So you're saying we're a horribly run franchise?
  7. Getting rid of Hurney's darlings would be fuging hilarious after sucking them off all offseason last year.
  8. Will people stop saying Jimmy is equal or worse than Teddy? Injury prone? Yes, but Teddy could only dream of throwing close to 30 TDs in a season.
  9. He had an all-pro season. Are you drunk?
  10. The line gave us plenty of opportunities last year to make plays that we didn't simply because Teddy is god awful. It is not nearly as bad as most people think it is.
  11. Yeah, its common sense moves we've all been wanting every offseason, but we've had coaches and FO staff with inflated egos that kept us from doing so. We should be looking to free up space every offseason and at least trying to go after players that could help the team tremendously instead of sticking with a failed plan and keeping coach's favorites on the team like Rivera did.
  12. We have a really good shot of winning the Cup this year.
  13. Asking if the first step of knowing. Knowledge helps everyone else adjust and deal. Do you rush to judgements after your first assessment?
  14. Wrong. No QB will hamstring us for years. It's absolutely worth it.
  15. I've been thinking about it more and even if we put a different line out there to matchup better with the opponent's line, the opponent will then also adjust. So it's constant adjusting back and forth. It seems like it would be easier to just spread out your best talent among all 4 lines or at least the top 3, that way you're not top heavy and more even, then just roll with that. Then if one line keeps getting beat, adjust accordingly. I thought that's what teams did anyway, but after reading this it seems way more complicated.
