I don't normally make threads, but with all the negativity out there I think it's time to bring in some perspective. Yeah there are moves this team has made that many posters don't like. You may not have liked who we traded for, signed, got rid of, etc. There are some who are disgruntled because of the way the whole Watson situation ended up. In which case I can only say get over it. However there is one thing you can not deny this staff in doing and that is their effort in trying to put together the best overall team they can. They've added players with potential, improved in areas, added depth. You might not have liked it, but at least they are trying. Unlike our previous regime who were dead set in their ways, kept around their favorite players, didn't start the best players on the field due to favoritism. Not only that, but our current staff actually makes changes to game planning and philosophy as well instead of sticking to the same old failed plan time and time again. So if you don't like the moves that have been made, at least look at the effort and how it is much better than what we had before.

Meant "will" but Huddle won't let me edit

I'd rather Sam than giving up so much to move up massively to draft someone with similar potential and around the same age.

Jimmy's first season he won only 1 game. His second, he got to 7-9. The following year they were 11-5. Ruhle just went 7-9....

Shouldn't you be inside Chris Simms?

Even if true, they were moving on from him anyway and someone was going to pull the trigger on him anyway. Stop the bitching.- 108 replies

I'm really tired of all the negativity and I don't know why. So we let go of Obada. Big Deal. We got Reddick now. So we let go of Kerr. We have Fox now who has better stats. Our OL depth was non-existent beforehand and now we've added some. Our LB depth was also bad and we've helped that area. Really the only big loss is Samuel who we can replace. I think all of the hate is due to the disappointment that we didn't trade for Watson. What would you guys have liked for us to do? Go ahead and traded for him anyway while he's under investigation? Then we actually would have to deal with Teddy for another year. We just traded for a young QB with about the same potential and age as the top QBs in this current draft. I don't see the problem here.

Sounds like Teddy will be Traded
KillerKat replied to Little Goody Two Shoes's topic in Carolina Panthers
All of that is complete fallacy that keeps circulating around here. -
Now go OT in the first round unless Fields is obtainable.

So then, what are we netting for Teddy and where’s he headed to?
KillerKat replied to davos's topic in Carolina Panthers
you could probably get back 2/3 of the picks given up for Darnold. -
Zach Wilson is boom or bust and should not be started year one
KillerKat replied to Ja Rhule's topic in Carolina Panthers
If we can't get Fields, I'd rather just get Jimmy G or Darnold and draft one of the top OTs. -
Sir, this is a Wendy's.

Tony Pauline: Panthers sleeper team to trade for Sam Darnold
KillerKat replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah he only threw for almost 30 touchdowns 2 seasons ago. He gets a lot of undeserved hate. -
Tony Pauline: Panthers sleeper team to trade for Sam Darnold

I wouldn't mind Jimmy or Darnald as long as we don't give up too much for them and we are willing to move on from them if they don't perform. Then we draft OT in the 1st. I also wouldn't mind trying to trade back up to take another lineman. -
PJ has shown he has potential. His decision making can be coached. He already has intangibles better than Teddy.

You're the biggest bitch on this forum

I'm not accepting Teddy Shitwater as the QB. I'll just have more free time on the weekends.

Don"t Expect Carolina to Trade Up for a QB.
KillerKat replied to chknwing's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tepper also shouldn't expect everyone to watch this team with Teddy at QB.
