Can you read? The reason there was is because the playcall left no one in the backfield and defense didnt even have to worry about a run.

Nobody else talking about how sh!t that play call was? Darnold looked like he was preparing himself to get hit before the snap. Empty backfield on 3rd down. All the defense had to do was blitz and not worry about anything else. Someone please make Brady their HC.

Last year was a playoff team with a better QB so yeah. -
I mean all you have to do is trust your eyes and see how many times Robby and DJ were open and Teddy refuse to throw their way. It was multiple times per game. Those plays are the difference between winning and losing.
