One way to hurt the NHL, just like the NFL, is everyone needs to stop watching teams that aren't yours. It's why I don't watch games other than the Hurricanes and Panthers.

God damn man, can you imagine if we just drafted Trey Smith instead of getting cute and drafting a fuging long snapper?

I would agree however he's also our #1 TE and moving him into the backfield would hurt our "safety valve" help and would also increase the chances of the defense knowing when we are going to run. I would watch out for Babicz to take Ricci's spot if the staff still wants to keep Thompson as the 3rd TE.

Rod needs better assistant coaching around him to help with the small things and special teams.

Necas definitely should have. Really you could've benched any of our "top guys".

Whenever we can take advantage of the powerplay and stop taking so many penalties. Our top guys have to stop going MIA in the playoffs also. These past 2 series would've ended in 5 or 6 with us playing Tampa if we did those things better. I think a lot of that has to do with coaching and Rod has to get a better assistant coach to help him out. Adding a couple of snipers will also help us be more opportunistic.

I can't help but to think its the coaching when we continue to suck on the power play along with all the penalties for the last 4 years and our top guys suddenly go MIA. It's frustrating as hell. It seems like Rod is a master at the basics, but it seems like we are missing all the details needed to put us over the top. Maybe we need a better assistant coach to help with that. I'm not sure, but something has to change in the future if we want to win a Cup.

Refs are killing my love for sports. It's gotten worse as the years go by and its no coincidence its about the same time as betting has become more widely accepted.
