  1. #9 pick for Fields would be a steal. Bears can take a WR for whatever QB they draft.
  2. The problem with sitting back at #9 is none of those QB's will be available. I don't think Rodgers or Lamar ends up on any of those teams ahead of us that need a QB. So if we want our guy we most likely have to trade up to get them.
  3. Do we still try to trade up for the 3 QB's that would be available or do we go after Fields? Call me crazy but I would go after Justin Fields especially if the Bears take CJ Stroud #1 overall. Fields is already shown flashes even on a bad team. People question his ability to pass but if you watch the Bears you can see the kid is running for his life behind that Oline and he literally has nothing to throw to on offense. He's basically on a bad team with no help. I think in a new situation he can become a more consistent passer like he shown at Ohio State. The kid just needs a decent Oline and he will be scary in this league. What would you do if the Bears go QB at #1?
  4. We can pay him. He's using the Watson contract as leverage. He just wants more guaranteed money than what Baltimore offered him.
  5. Franchise QB's are worth a lot in trade. It's why they rarely become available via trade. If Lamar becomes available watch how many teams go after him.
  6. The cap is not a real thing. I don't understand why fans are so concerned with what Tepper pays players. It's not your money lol. If it was up to me every player would be overpaid. Football is a dangerous game these players should get paid the most money they can.
  7. Top Dawg is not impressed. Steichen has some work to do to impress the Top Dawg!
  8. Yeah that's why the Bills were the favorites coming into the season. Media hyped up Allen over a playoff battle with Mahomes in which he lost. He couldn't live up to the hype this year. Burrow is just a better QB than Allen even with a bad Oline.
  9. It's amazing every year people continue to preach waiting on a QB in the next draft lol Im 33 bro how much longer do we have to wait! Im going gray as we speak.
  10. Yikes people still buying the Allen hype huh? What more does Burrow have to prove? The only QB who can say he beat both Mahomes and Allen in the playoffs.
  11. Then hopefully we draft one. Im gonna lose it if we settle for Derek Carr. 3 years is enough suffering. It's time we get our guy.
  12. My man Lamar won MVP. Im sorry but im ending this conversation you clearly just don't like Lamar the player. I can't take you serious when you are questioning a QB who has a MVP and is in the MVP conversation every year. Have a nice day sir!
  13. You good bro? Who said anything about winning anything? I simply said he is a franchise QB. Calm down Mr. Scot
  14. A lot of people are trying to write off Wilson after 1 bad season. Yall going to look crazy when he starts playing great again with a offensive coach like Payton. Same with Watson the dude hasn't played football in 2 years and yall writing him off after 6 warmup games.lol Slow down people these guys need to be bad for consecutive years before we RIP them.
  15. So Brady/Manning/Brees never got injured? All QB's get injured my man. Stop trying to make Cam the poster boy for QB's being injured.
  16. Stafford went to a superteam. We can't provide Carr with that so I don't get your point on Stafford.
  17. If you blame the franchise for his mistakes than he is not a franchise QB. Burrow turned around the Bengals. If you're that guy success will follow. Carr had a top 5 TE and the best WR in football. Lamar Jackson never had those type of weapons.
  18. We ain't crippling anything. We already a upgrade over Baltimore talent wise. You act like this team is far away from being a threat. We damn near made the playoffs with Sam Darnold. You realize how much better we would be with a MVP level QB like Lamar? *Btw Lamar is not my only option im all for getting 1 of the top 4 QB's in this draft.
  19. I understand you want the best QB available. My point is Carr is not a franchise QB. Signing him basically puts us in the same position as last year. Mediocre QB who gets us the 10-15 pick of the draft once again not in position to get a QB. We need to get one of the top 4 QB's in this draft and develop them or go after a true franchise QB Lamar Jackson. Carr is 32 and we likely seen the best of him. Great guy but he is not a franchise QB his resume proves that.
  20. Lamar hasn't even been in the league 5 years. Burrow/Allen/Herbert all have 0 SB's. But they all have shown they can be MVP candidates and lead a team to the playoffs consistently. Lamar is proven if you don't get that than im sorry there is no need to debate you. Derek Carr has stability for a franchise? My man Carr has made the playoffs once in his entire career. His days of being a franchise QB are over. He's 32 and declining. No thanks but I want no part of Derek freaking Carr. It's sad this fanbase keeps wanting these mediocre QB's. Then wonder why we are looking for a QB every year. Lamar is a sure thing. His resume speaks for itself. Even without weapons he carries that offense. Lamar>Carr there is nothing to debate.
  21. Yes and im trading all that fpr Lamar Jackson. He's proven in this league. The NFC is not as tough as the AFC. Lamar would already have a better supporting cast then he had in Baltimore. Derek Carr on the other hand is a aging QB with no real success winning games on a consistent level. He had a top 5 TE and the best WR in football and still couldn't make noise. Could you imagine Lamar with those weapons? It's not even a debate Lamar is a MVP candidate and Carr is just another QB. The goal is to get a franchise QB not recycle another aging vet QB.
  22. A franchise guy who has 1 suitor looking to trade for him. Dude is 32 with 1 playoff appearance on his resume. Nothing franchise about that.lol So we think a 32 Carr has a ton of upside at this stage of his career?
