Poll: What do you want Panthers to do for QB?
CamWhoaaCam replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
Why is nobody suggesting Aaron Rodgers? Im like the only person who has discussed the idea. A 2 year run with Rodgers would be worth it. Would be like the Brady/Bucs run. We have enough pieces to win the NFC with Rodgers. Maybe get him a TE in FA and we are set. -
QB options sorted in preference tiers
CamWhoaaCam replied to JawnyBlaze's topic in Carolina Panthers
Give me Lamar Jackson over Carr anyday and twice on Sundays. It's 3 options for me. 1. Trade up for Stroud/Young 2. Stay at #9 and hope Levis/Richardson fall in our lap 3. Go after Lamar or Rodgers Bridge QB's is not something I want again. Carr is just a slight upgrade over Darnold. No thanks but we can't become a middle of the pack team for the next 3 years. -
This a pretty long thread for a guy who hasn't even shown interest in us.lol

I never get the "wait till next year" to get a QB approach. This roster is not bad enough to get the top QB's next year either. So we will be in the same position next year. At some point you have to just bite the bullet and trade up for your QB. Waiting is not a guarantee either.

Would you trade 9 for Fields - straight up?
CamWhoaaCam replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Bears have a new GM who didn't draft him. It's why im not ruling out them trading Fields. The new GM could fall in love with 1 of those top QB's in the draft. -
The goofiest cornball coach in the NFL?

This is funny because it was definitely us before we fired Rhule. #RhuleEraWasTrash -
Would you trade 9 for Fields - straight up?
CamWhoaaCam replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah I feel the same. Teams ahead of us particularly Atlanta would certainly be interested in Fields. While I personally like Fields I don't think Carolina would be interested as he is not the type of QB Frank has coached during his career. -
Ask yourself is Carr and the non QB #9 pick making a huge difference? Sounds like a move that will make us a playoff team and not much else. We aren't sniffing a SB with Carr. Why not sell out for our QB and finally develop a young franchise QB?

Wait you asked a question then get mad because you don't agree with the answer? -

The teams ahead of us. People are crazy if you don't think Fields will have suitors. Im on record I would take Fields over any QB in this draft not named Stroud. Im still going back to his Ohio State days when he had an actual Oline the dude can pass. He's not been able to show that in Chicago because he is running for his life every other play. Fields will be a problem when he gets a Oline. -
This always seemed like the most realistic approach. Brissett already played for Frank and he's a much cheaper option than the other bridge QB's.
-
Yeah I don't know about his leadership. Im just confused why people think he is elite. We setting the bar low for QB's if Carr is considered elite.lol Im thinking Carr is in the middle of the pack of starting QB's. If you aren't in the top 10 you're not elite imo.
-
Yeah and the Raiders chose McDaniels over Carr. That should tell you what they think of Carr. Even being a good person and great leader they still gave him the boot. You don't have those weapons Carr had and not make the playoffs.
-
So you trying to convince me that Carr is legit when the team he played for just let him leave? Cmon bruh these are professionals who know the game of football and they clearly didn't think Carr was elite. You just don't let a elite QB walk out the door.
-
Teams just don't cut legit QB's. Legit QB's don't make the playoffs just 1 time out of his entire 9 year career. We fall for the trap every year. Please just draft a QB. We can't fix a 32 year old aging Carr. Let some other team take him on. We've done it for 3 straight years it doesn't work.

Let it go bro. Wilks was a great coach but...

We have our coaches. What schemes will we run?
CamWhoaaCam replied to Cam's New Arm's topic in Carolina Panthers
Exactly dude act like we coaching lol. I don't follow these coaches to know what schemes they run. Let them figure that out. -
This roster is too good we won't be in position next year for Maye or Williams either. Even if we went that route we would still have to trade draft picks to get our QB. We can't keep signing vet QB's and expecting different results. We are a middle of the pack team who has the potential to be better if we get our franchise QB.
-
Im not against it, but how much would GB want for a QB who has 2 more years max of playing football? I would give up a 1st for a 2 year run with Rodgers. Also would Rodgers be okay coming to Charlotte? We don't seem like his kind of market.

CamWhoaaCam replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
My man you're not paying him your money. QB's are going to get paid this is just how it works. You think Burrow/Allen taking paycuts? This sport is violent these players deserve to make the most money they can. There is no guarantee they will have a long life after football. Get your money players! -

NFL is a dangerous sport. He's right to break the bank. What good is all that money if you can't enjoy it 20 years from now because of CTE? I will never be against players breaking the bank. This sport is just too violent. Make the most money while you can.
