Im not even saying he's a bad QB. Im just saying he's not the answer for this team. Carr needs to be on a loaded roster to get the best out of him. I been suggesting the 49ers. As you said any of the teams in the NFC South Carr is not scaring any teams in this division. Why would we want that for the next 3 years? I guess people just don't want to give up assets to get a true franchise QB. It's kind of sad to come to this board everyday and the majority of the talk is Derek Carr. Out of all the QB's we talking about Derek Carr...

Mr. Scot gets under your skin only if you allow him. Ignore him is what I do.

Every year we get these castoff QB's and people continue to fall for the trap. "But Carr is better than Darnold, Mayfield, Bridgewater" Okay? We need a franchice QB not a QB that's just better than the previous QB's. The goal is to win a championship. Signing 32 year old QB who is a middle of the pack QB is not helping us reach that goal. Either trade for a true franchise QB or draft one and develop them. What you don't do is go in between and get those QB's who are just good enough to make you a middle of the road team. Carr has 1 playoff appearance in his entire 9 year career. But you trying to sell me on that?

Josh Allen no SB? Justin Herbert no SB? So you wouldn't want those QB's either based on your response. But you think Derek Carr is taking us somewhere. Some people just don't know football. You seem to be one of those people. It's 2023 if you think this team is going anywhere without a franchise QB than I don't know what to tell you. Go ahead and sign Carr for 40 mil and see how that turns out.lol

No I want us to sign him because he gives us the best chance to win a SB. But people seem to love the castoff vet QB's. Nobody wants a franchise QB anymore they just want just another guy and continue to build the team. Then they wonder why every year we are looking for a QB.

I guarantee you other teams will pay Lamar that money. The Ravens have always been cheap with their players. You think teams went after Deshaun Watson and his baggage off the field but you think Lamar wont get the same treatment? Cmon guys don't overthink this. Lamar is definitely getting paid it will just be from another team. Atlanta will definitely give him the Watson contract.

People saying Carr will get 40mil + lol Then they complain about Lamar getting paid. Make it makes sense...

Interesting twist regarding Lamar Jackson...
CamWhoaaCam replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
Atlanta seems like the most realistic landing spot. They have the cap space to sign him to a massive deal and they are in the NFC. I don't know how we deal with Lamar and Pitts but hey this is what you have to deal with when you don't pursue franchise QB's. Sometimes they end up in your backyard. Now we deal with them. -

You realize elite QB's get paid a lot of money right? Allen/Burrow/Herbert will all get paid possibly more than Lamar. Not sure why everyone is making a big deal out of Lamar's contract. QB's are the most important position in football when you get an elite QB be prepared to pay up. If not some other team will do it for them. -
I said this earlier. He's probably looking for 30mil a year and so far neither the Saints or Jets trying to pay him that much.
-
Lets see Rodgers>Carr That's the point.lol
-
Is this all you do all day call people out and act like you have all the answers?
-
You're assuming we actually want him. Frank hasn't confirmed interest yet.

Matt Stafford went to a superteam something we are not. If you paid attention you will see I have been suggesting Carr going to the 49ers because of their loaded roster. Carr is not helping this roster go anywhere.
-
Carr had 9 years and they have looked bad 8 of the 9 years with him at QB. Sorry but it's time they try something new. That team was going nowhere with Carr at QB.
-
Gotta be honest if we willing to trade that much for the #1 pick maybe we should pursue Lamar Jackson who we know for sure is a franchise QB. I love Stroud as much as anybody but there is still a chance he might not live up to the hype. Not saying I wouldn't go all in, but I would check with Lamar before making this kind of deal. We are at worst the 2nd best team in the NFC the moment we trade for Lamar.
-
You are a piece of work.lol
-
He's legit to you. To me he is a middle of the pack QB. He fits in the middle. I don't consider that legit in my book. The legit guys actually make the playoffs year in and year out despite what's going on on the other side of the ball.

Panthers met with Hooker per report
CamWhoaaCam replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Talent as in AR has a bigger arm he's more mobile, you know part of the reason he is ranked ahead of Hooker in the draft. Get it now? -

Im already convinced Brissett will be that QB. Im talking about the big money bridge QB's guys like Jimmy G, Carr stay away from those guys. -

Not my ideal outcome but if we miss out on the top 4 QB's this definitely would be the best outcome. I rather try and develop a QB rather than go the bridge vet QB route again.
