I remember people saying Stafford had one of the best arms in football during his Lions days. I never heard this about Carr. Stafford had elite arm talent. Carr has never been talked about on that level. If Carr is what you think he would be signed by now. Teams putting him on hold for Lamar and Rodgers.

Are you really surprised though? This the same franchise who signed Teddy Bridgewater, traded a 2nd rd pick for Sam Darnold, and brought Baker Mayfield in which he played the worst football of his career. Hopefully the new staff doesn't make those same mistakes.

What I don't understand is if this guy is as great as everyone is saying why has there only been 2 teams that have shown interest? He's the best available QB and can be had right now but seems like teams still waiting on the actual legit QB's Rodgers and Lamar to make a move.

Umm yes he's the QB. The people defending him are comparing him to 1 QB Stafford who went to a loaded team. Nobody is saying Carr is a bad QB he just doesn't fit with this roster. His agent needs to be on the phone with the 49ers. That's a situation where I can compare him to Stafford and he gets a chance with a loaded roster to get a ring.

The Jets showed just how much they respect Carr that they put him on the waiting list to wait for Aaron Rodgers. I would be shocked if he signs there they treated him as plan B. My guess is he goes to the Saints. Im not sure either teams are offering him 35 mil a year which is reportedly what he wants. Hopefully we stay away from him.

The fanbase loves taking on used QB's that other teams get rid of. Don't know why people want a mid QB. Even if we get Carr what is he doing with this offense who has even lesser weapons than the Raiders. We don't have the best WR in football or a top 5 TE.
