    They fall for the trap every year. Carr is 32 and the team cut him in his prime. That should be a red flag right there. Why is it these QB's who get cut are always our problem? Go get our QB in the draft please!

    It's been odd we have been quiet on Lamar yet we went all out for Watson. Tepper might be cooking up something behind the scenes. Frank did say they will explore all options at QB. If Lamar becomes available you better bet we will at least put in a call. I think the money is where it could get tricky.

    This seems to be his destination. It sucks because I think they would be a threat to us. Lamar with a TE like Pitts would be a nightmare. I hope there is a sleeper team in the NFC that might be after him. A team like Washington could be lurking.

    I don't know why people keep suggesting QB if we sign Carr. Carr needs weapons! If we still drafting a QB it makes no sense to spend big money on Carr. Either sign Carr and use #9 to get him a WR or TE. Or just trade up for a QB and sign a much cheaper bridge QB.

    True, but you could look at it the other way as well. We would still have a elite young pass rusher on the defense. That's the most important position on defense. Burns is easily our most important player on defense. Without him the defense would fall apart imo. Pass rush is a must.

    Honestly I rather keep Burns if we can. Pass rushers are the 2nd most important position in football. You need guys who can get after the QB. I would bite the bullet and give up the extra 1st. We at least know we have a stable core moving forward. Remove Burns and our defense just isn't what it was. We we have no pass rush.
