So you still holding on to his NY days huh? Let it go bro. Dude has matured he has a family now. You still talking about crap he did 5 years ago. It's 2023 OBJ hasn't been in trouble since his Giants days. He's a SB champion. Gotta get with the current times man.
-
How did he win a SB if he is a locker room killer? Plenty of players asking for more than their worth in FA... So according to you Lamar Jackson, Daniel Jones, and whoever ask for more money are locker room killers. Yall don't realize how ridiculous some of you sound. Yall just full of hate or you take life too seriously. I feel like im still living in 2018.

This roster is set up nice where if we hit on the QB we can absolutely be contending in the next year or 2. We have cap space to get a #1 WR next year as well.
-
Never made mistakes in your life? You never got a 2nd chance at life? The man isn't a criminal. He hasn't caused trouble in years now. You got people still thinking this dude is a drama king.
-
Why would he be on the trade block?
-
I could be wrong but I did see some quote him saying he thought the Panthers could win a championship which is why he signed here. I would think another vet WR would probably fit that description.
-
What has he done that makes him a cancer? Let me guess you are judging him off his Giants days like everyone else who hates on him? Crazy how this dude won a championship and people still trying to make him out to be a diva. This is not Antonio Brown dude.
-
OBJ might be more realistic than I thought. A team reportedly offered him 4 mil a year.lol If he's that cheap I see no risk in a 1yr 8 mil prove it deal.

Reich/Fitterer noon press conference

Summary of what was said? -
Nah it's just you.
-
Maybe he meant DJ Chark?
-
This is hilarious.
-
I agree with this. If we sign Chark I don't even won't a WR in the draft. We can get our #1 WR in FA next season. I think CB/TE is what we will look at with pick #39.

Has Cam Newton submitted his retirement papers yet?

10 years from now you will be there still hating on Cam threads. Tuff life bro. Spread some joy. -
Panthers still have $23.5M in cap space

Sign Chark as well then I feel a lot different about our WR group. Still no true #1 but that would be a solid group for a rookie QB. We have capspace next year to go get a #1 WR.

Deandre Hopkins is on the decline. Stats don't show it. When he plays he's still a #1 WR. You're calling injury prone but he just played every game last year. The games he missed were because of suspension. So you are saying he's injury prone because of the games he missed the year before. Doesn't add up when you really look at it. It's cool you don't want him, but don't use injuries to say he has declined. He's still a #1 WR when he steps on the field.
-
Don't you tease me like that!
-
So you counting his suspension as injuries? 8 games in the last 2 seasons...
-
Yeah we overpaid for the wrong WR. If we paying that much I wish it was for a younger guy. Theilen is on the backend of his career. People already saying he will be a mentor. You don't pay that kind of money for a mentor player. We need production right away. Hopefully we still add another WR either via trade or draft.
-
You just answered why we still need to focus on WR. Theilen is a vet who can be a safety blanket for the rookie WR. He's not someone who going to make explosive plays. We most definitely need to keep going after Chark. He can at least stretch the field with his size and speed.
-
That would be great, but im not seeing the TMJ hype. What gives you confidence he will break out?
-
You mean the guy who is a clear #1 WR?
-
Better be more than that. He's making 10mil this year I expect production and be the top receiver on the team.
-
Please tell me he just turned 32... A 3 year deal for a 33 year old WR makes no sense. But when we are desperate for WR help I get it. Trade for Hopkins and I like this move even more.
