In order to be competitive you need a franchise QB. The only way to get a franchise QB is either draft one or trade for that becomes available. Im not understanding your point because we will never contend without a QB. It's amazing you don't understand that.

I will never understand how so many people love to talk down on Cam. Do people realize what he did for the Charlotte community off the field? Imagine trading for Carr and having to give him an extension on top of that. Good thing the Saints are the only team stupid enough to trade for him. NFC South is ours next year. Numbers tell me Derek Carr is not a QB who will take you anywhere. His record speaks for itself. People acting like this dude is a legit franchise QB is crazy. And if you think he isn't a franchise QB why are we even pursuing him? There is no in between either Carr is a franchise QB or he isn't. Numbers and record say he isn't.

I think people automatically assuming the Bears will trade the #1 pick. Colin Cowherd said he had a source within the Bears front office and said the new GM isn't in love with Justin Fields and they will look to trade him. You just don't say that live on air if it doesn't have some truth to it. I think they could go QB and trade Fields for assets. Keep in mind the new GM didn't draft Justin Fields.

If we don't end up with one of those top 4 QB's im going to be disappointed because that likely means we are going the vet QB route again which means another 1st round draft pick in the 10-15 range next year. We just delaying our franchise QB chase every year. It has to stop with this draft. Go get our QB!

He has 1 playoff appearance his entire career. Elite QB's don't miss the playoffs that many times in their career. Im sorry but Carr would be a waste of time on this team. We need a franchise QB not another castoff aging vet QB.
