  1. So Carr has no accountability? Hopefully he signs with a team with a good defense. I would love for him to be in a winning situation which is why I think the Jets/49ers are the perfect fit for him.
  2. It's funny because you're the only person talking about Lamar Jackson in every other post I make. Like dude find a new slant. Not sure what point you're trying to prove but good luck whatever you're trying to do. You can keep harassing me about Lamar everyday maybe some day you will get tired of it.
  3. You seem to have a problem with Lamar Jackson. I have been on record saying go get Stroud, but you keep bringing up Lamar Jackson. Just wondering why you don't talk about the other QB's I want?
  4. Bengals have a great defense? Jags have a great defense?
  5. Could be? He's 32 either he is or he isn't.
  6. Woosh! The other side of the ball Burrow has one of the worst Olines in football. Lamar Jackson has a TE and that's literally it. Why are they still winning more games than Carr?
  7. Is Carr a franchise QB yes or no?
  8. What exactly do you want people to say about Carr? I've said numerous times he's a good QB. You making excues for a QB that needs help around him to win. Lamar Jackson has had the least weapons of any QB in the NFL. He still gets that team to the playoffs every year. Burrow took a bad franchise and turned them into SB contenders overnight. Trevor Lawrence same thing. See the difference in the QB's. Nobody makes excuses when you have that legit franchise QB. Doesn't matter the team around them they just win games. Carr just isn't on that level which is why he needs a "defense" as you said.
  9. Bro Lamar Jackson has had no weapons for years in Baltimore besides a TE. He still gives you 10 wins a year with not much help. Burrow took a bad franchise around and got them to a SB his 2nd year in the league. Burrow still has a bad Oline.lol There is a difference between elite and mid tier QB's. You making excuses for Carr because he can't make up for the roster around him. You don't make these excuses for the elite QB's because they can carry a weak roster to the playoffs consistently. Nobody is saying Carr is bad. We just saying he is not elite. You add a mid tier QB to a roster that isn't elite and you will get a team that won't get very far in the playoffs. If Carr goes to the 49ers they probably the favorites to win the NFC. Carr in Carolina we are a playoff team but nothing much more than that. What do you disagree with?
  10. He's good enough to win a SB with a loaded roster. The reason I don't want him is because our roster isn't loaded. We will be a middle of the pack team with Carr as he can't carry a team on his shoulders like the true franchise QB's can. He's a mid tier QB. If you're not saying he is elite than there is nothing we should be debating. We agree.
  11. Bro I literally said he is good QB aka middle tier QB. Im not about to call him elite when he has 1 playoff appearance in 9 years. You can call him elite but im not doing that. I judge QB's differently than any other position. Is being a "good" QB a shot at Derek Carr?
  12. Yeah it's the only QB that seems to get compared to Carr. We don't have the Rams roster. Nobody is saying Carr is bad. I just feel a lot of people are ignoring his struggles as a franchise QB. Dude had some of the best weapons in football and the team still struggled. He's 32 and needs to be on a loaded roster to achieve what Stafford did. That's asking a lot.
  13. Carr has been to the playoffs 1 time in his entire 9 year career. If you using him as an example of winning then we are in trouble. This team will win because of the team around him and the weak division.
  14. Im fine you're the one who replied to me as if you know the actual offers behind the scenes. That would be the best offer imo. I may be wrong. No big deal.
  15. You good bro? If you disagree just say that, but don't act like you know what's going on behind the scenes.
  16. Neither do you my friend... This a speculation board my man. Not everybody has the same opinion.
  17. I would do that in a heartbeat. Bears have cap so they could afford Burns new contract.
  18. This is where I think Burns comes into play. Burns/2 1st beats anybody offer.
  19. Due diligence is good news. I think the goal is to get one of the top 4 QB's. I will be shocked if we don't trade up some spots. It's unlikely all 4 QB's will be there if we stay put at #9.
  20. How is it there will never be another Cam but there will be another Brady? That never made sense. You're basically saying Cam was so talented that there will never be another QB like him in NFL history. Josh Allen plays like Cam imo and he is a better passer. People saying Burrow is the next Brady. I can see the comparison. You can compare QB's. We been doing it for decades.
  21. QB is off the board if we sign Carr. You have to put weapons around him. He's not a QB who can carry a weak offense like Rodgers/Lamar. #9 pick has to be a WR Two 2nd round picks need to be a TE/RB
  22. Basically what I been saying the entire time. If Carr is the QB you have to build around him. He's not a cheap bridge QB.
  23. That doesn't make sense though. Carr is going to want a lot of money. Why pay a guy a 3 year contract probably worth 100 mil to be a bridge for the next 3 years? Jimmy G would be cheaper and would probably take a 1 year prove it deal because of his injury history. I rather go that route if the plan is to still draft a QB. Even Brissett/Minshew could be a bridge QB.
  24. That is why so many are against it. Yeah he's better than what we had, but he's still in that tier of QB's that are good but not good enough. Then you look at our roster and a mid tier QB and you realize the team wouldn't make it very far in the playoffs. Carr had more weapons in Vegas than he will have here. We would have to add a lot more around him to even think about making a run. Im not a hater im just being real.
