Did we really get fleeced though? I was thinking about this last night. We basically only gave up a 1st rd pick. The 1st this year is swapped so it cancels out since we have the #1 pick. A 1st/2nd/DJ Moore for our franchise QB. Most predicted it would take 3 future 1st round picks to move up to the #1 pick. We basically got it done with 1 future 1st. The question is did we fleece Chicago? That will depend on how great the QB we draft turns out.

A trade for Hopkins and we probably back in conversation of winning this division.

Brisset most likely. No need to spend big money on a mentor QB. Stroud/Bryce will start day 1.

lol im watching Get Up and 30 minutes into the show they have mentioned nothing about us making a trade. During the opening they said they will discuss how the trade made Chicago a much better team for Justin Fields. They have been discussing Aaron Rodgers and the Jets. It's a market thing. Some people just don't travel. If only they knew just how big Chicago actually is. I swear people keep ignoring this. Teams can be over the cap and still be in position to get the highest paid player on the market. There is no cap in reality. Teams can make space if they really want a specific player.

I seen some quotes by Frank he was talking about the QB position and how the league you need QB's who can move and make plays with their legs and be dynamic as a run threat. If someone has the link feel free to post it. Anyway that makes me think AR might be the reason we might look to trade back if the rumors are true. I think if they stay at #1 Stroud or Young are the pick. If they trade back with the Texans AR might be the pick. We shall see still a long way before we know who they actually want.

If you fill out a bracket and it doesn't have Alabama as the Nat'l championship winner than you haven't been watching college basketball this year. They have been the clear cut best team in basketball. Brandon Miller is easily the best player in the country. I will be shocked if they don't win it all.

I think AR has a better chance at being the pick if we trade back. If they wanted AR or Levis I think they would have traded to #3. They obviously want a specific QB to trade at #1 and that seems like it will come down to Stroud or Bryce.

Allen Robinson would be a nice big target for a possession WR. He is no longer a #1 but would be a solid #2. Curtland Sutton is also another name. Hopkins will probably get traded to a contender.
