Hell of a 1st post! -
I get were you're coming from and you make great points. I was just speaking on him and why he has an agent sitting beside him. Im just thinking when I was at that age what would I have done in that type of situation. I probably would panic under pressure like that. Do you by chance have the interview link?
-
Especially when you have the #1 pick! We can't look at size. The pressure is on us to get this pick right. Take the best QB. Im not a scout or anything but I was a fan of Stroud in the beginning mainly because of the size factor. Then I started watching the film and Bryce Young stood out a bit more. He can beat you in a variety of ways throw in the pocket, throw on the run, and he has a unique ability to make something out of nothing. I was sold on him he has that "it factor".

He's still rated as a top 3 prospect in the draft. Some team will take him my bet is Philly. He cost himself a few extra mil though he was going to be the 1st defensive player off the board before the accident. Brandon Miller from Alabama had a similar situation. I don't remember him doing a public interview. These are kids at the end of the day. At that age I would be scared to talk in public as well.

You have a link to the interview?

Drew Rosenhause has been in a lot of interviews with his clients. I think you're reading too much into it. He's a kid and was probably scared of the spotlight.
-
That's your reason. Why would he talk about the accident? He's trying to get drafted. This is why you hire an agent. They keep it about football.

He's not elusive as Young, just like Young is not as accurate as Stroud. The thing that sets them apart is Young can actually do more outside of the pocket. He's elite throwing on the run. Stroud pretty much stayed in the pocket at Ohio State. Im just going off the rumors with the RPO offense we reportedly will run it seems like Young fits that offense more than Stroud.

He's a billionaire. Not a good chunk of change. This is like him buying a mansion in Colorado for winter vacations. -
Passing isn't the only thing that matters when playing QB. Stroud may be a better passer but Young is much more mobile and elusive in and out of the pocket. Stroud passing ability is his main trait. Young can both pass and run. He gives you more options in your offense. Young has been the projected #1 pick since last year. Nothing has changed. I get your love for Stroud, but you need to start accepting the fact that the coaching staff likes Bryce Young as the pick.
