Bro do you not understand how you're not making any sense. If we drafting Tmac #1 he better be good enough to make a impact on this offense no matter the QB. You can't hype him up as the #1 pick yet ignore that his success depends on the QB. If he's that guy he will make this offense go no matter the QB. Have you seen the mock drafts lately? Most of them have us taking a QB. Just because you aren't high on these QBs doesn't mean the Panthers or other teams aren't. You don't think teams like NY/Las Vegas/Cleveland won't be in the market for a QB? If we hold the #1 pick we can put out signals we are going with a QB unless someone offers us a legit trade up package. Sanders and Ward will be wanted by multiple teams trust me. I'm confident we could trade back if need be. Now if we get the #2 pick then just stay there and draft Tmac or Hunter. The #1 pick is our leverage. That's all I'm saying use it to our advantage if we can. It's possible we could still end up with Tmac in a trade back depending on the team we trade with.

If you don't have the same physical attributes how are you similar? QBs throw the ball if you not similar in physical attributes you obviously aren't similar with your throwing ability. Love clearly has a bigger arm. And honestly Love is on the verge of being a top 5 QB in this league. Sanders is a pocket passer with a lesser arm, but he has the it factor. We seen him in crunch time lead his team down the field and win games. I think Sanders is more Dak Prescott.

If we take a QB that high again it better be our franchise guy because we don't have time to be wasting picks on a developmental QB. I personally would rather just sign a Fields or Winston over reaching on any of these QBs not named Ward/Sanders. Milroe scares me. 1996 was the last time a WR went #1. I'm fine taking Tmac at #2. My only thing is don't take any position other than QB if we are staying at #1. If we want Tmac or Hunter just trade back a few spots. There are only 2 QBs who teams will be fighting over and that's Sanders and Ward. If they want a QB more than us then they will have to give us a good deal.

It's been a passing league for a decade now and still no WR has gone #1. QB/DE are the main positions that are worthy of the highest pick. Every once and a while a LT will get lucky and go #1. And no I never said take Hunter #1. I said anything outside of #1 is fair game just like I said for Tmac. We would be fools to take either Tmac or Hunter #1 overall. Use that #1 pick as leverage trade back and still get either Hunter or Tmac.

Again FA is not how you build a competitive team. That is for teams who already have talent. We don't have that right now. At best you hit on 2 elite guys in FA. That's not turning this team around. We have to simply start drafting better. That's how you build your foundation. We have a decent Oline now and the WR room looks decent with the rookies. Now it's time to start adding some talent on defense. That's our biggest concern right now. Hit on those draft picks and a few key FA guys and we can start talking about changing the culture.

W barely got FAs here when Cam was here lol. Most of our talent during that era was from in house. FA has become overrated. At best you get 2 great signings. Teams are building in house. This FA frenzy pipedream thing is not the correct way to build your team. Until we start hitting on our draft picks it's gonna be hard to change the culture with or without a QB. Cincinnati has one of the best QBs in the league yet they suck. That defense has maybe 1 good player on the entire defense. A great QB doesn't guarantee you success all the time. You need a decent roster with that QB.

We need to move on from Bridges. This team still needs another legit wing besides Miller. Bridges is a tweener pf/sf. Would love to see us get a legit 3&D wing for him at the trade deadline.
