We saw it in preseason. The defense had zero pass rush without Burns. I think now that the Bosa deal is done that gives us an idea on what we can offer Burns. Surely he's not getting the Bosa deal. I always thought 28-30mil per year was reasonable with maybe 100 mil guaranteed. Hopefully a deal gets done before Sunday. Maybe Burns has a few sacks jacked from his new deal.

Agreed. I do think Houston will help though. He's a situational pass rusher, but he still can rack up sacks even at 34 years old. Hopefully someone else on the roster steps up and fills that role.
