We just don't want good players because we have to pay them. If it was up to some of you we would just keep the players we draft for 4 years and trade them when it's time for them to get paid. I

Thanks for using my proposal I made the other day. It was Burns for Higgins/future 1st. I doubt they can afford to pay Burns after the Bosa deal. So this is just a pipedream trade as well.

Luckily we are in the NFC. I doubt the Bengals trade him to any of the top teams in the AFC. Unfortunately we traded our future picks for Young so I doubt we could get a deal done anyway. Our only hope is via FA which they probably will trade him before then.

I already have it made up in my mind Chark will play 4 games max this year. Starting the season off with a hamstring injury sucks, those things can linger for months.

TMJ and Mingo it's time to show us why you had half the huddle calling you both potential star WR's.

I said from the beginning I was never a fan of the Rams trade. I think the real missed opportunity was trading Moore instead of Burns. I think Moore made more sense to keep in that scenario given we were trading for our young franchise QB. Instead of having to rely on other young WR's we would have Moore/Thielen two reliable targets for a young QB. That Burns trade made more sense then trading him for 2 more rookies. That's just me though, I can respect others opinion if they disagree.

I don't think the Rams deal was the right deal. I think the deal with Chicago should have been Burns instead of Moore. That's the deal Fitt missed. Bryce has his #1 WR from day 1. Maybe instead of picking Mingo in the 2nd round we draft a pass rusher. Offense seems more formidable with Moore/Sanders/Thielen as your skill players. Now that's how you make your young rookie QB more comfortable give him proven talent around him he can trust from day 1.

Who we signing with that cap? The FA class for WR's was suspect. Also are those weapons trying to come to a rebuilding team and a rookie QB? You have these assumptions, but it's not that easy. You have to have vet players on your roster to attract other good players. FA's are not looking to join rebuilding rosters with no identity. Im more upset that we traded Moore over Burns. If we drafting a rookie QB it would have made more sense to keep the vet WR in his prime. Im open to trading Burns but it has to be the right deal.

The same offense we outscored with Sam Darnold at QB? The same offense that missed the playoffs in the NFC? Yeah im shaking in my boots from the scary Detroit Lions offense!
-
Yeah offense was just good enough to beat the Chiefs with bad WRs and no Kelce. High Octane alright! If Kelce plays this game is a blowout. But keep hyping the Lions. The same Lions we beat with Sam Darnold at QB with the playoffs on the line.
-
Just because we are not a contender doesn't mean we should trade all of our elite players. If this was a full rebuild Burns would be on the Rams right now. Burns was obviously in our long term plans if we turned down 2 1st. Contract will get done. I don't care too much what it is as long as it's reasonable.

I enjoyed it actually. Was just angry the Lions were out on that stage. NFL wants them to be good which is why a non playoff team played in the season opener.

Lions won their SB for this year good for them. Oh well Panthers 1 game back from the #1 seed in the NFC! See you boyz Sunday!
