What would a successful game for Young look like?
CamWhoaaCam replied to TN05's topic in Carolina Panthers

Football is a physical sport. Cam would still be playing had that hit vs the Steelers didn't screw his shoulder up. Hell he played for more years even after the injury. He could still play today he just doesn't have the arm strength to be a starter anymore. He could be a backup for Lamar Jackson. That's just not in his blood.

Skip killed his own career sadly. Dude would come to work spiked off the diet Mtn Dew causing hell in the workplace. People forget he ran off 2 women before the Shannon stuff. He was always making things awkward with his coworkers.

Huh? -
Cam was never the greatest public speaker. As you said he speaks well enough to get his point, but he does have some cringe moments. ESPN is looking for hot takes and Cam will be fine in that area. I like Cam because he's a Carolina Panther. He's in Charlotte this weekend doing an event. The guy still bleeds Carolina. I would love to see him debate that lady from ESPN who tried to shame him on Nat'l tv I think her name is Kimberly Martin. That would be hilarious.

We have to figure out our future core team
CamWhoaaCam replied to RumHam's topic in Carolina Panthers
We already know our core the Oline/Brown/Horn. That's it. The defense needs to be addressed just as much as the QB. -

Good point. I keep forgetting we suck so bad that there is no chance that dude wants to stay here. This is what this franchise has become. -

Sign him long-term. We get a good player and just trade him away to a contender. What are those picks getting us? -
Dan Graziano: Panthers will trade Diontae Johnson
CamWhoaaCam replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
We trade our actual good players away every year. Y'all will learn if you don't have talent you won't be very good. The sad part is Johnson is gonna ball out like everyone else who leaves the Panthers. -

Teams are calling for Johnson. Playoff teams at that. We will learn one day about trading away all of our good players. This offense is gonna struggle big time watch. -

Yes we will look a lot worse. Neither XL/Mingo/Coker have proven to be a deep threat. Who's making plays down the field after we trade Johnson? -

Anyone not losing sleep over the thought of XL and Mingo is beyond help. All fun n games until we see this offense without Johnson. -

Well he has no excuses now. He's got the best QB in the NFL. I want results. -

No he's not. You still living in the past. Hopkins has been injury prone over the last few years and he's no longer a deep threat WR. Johnson at this point is a better WR. -
Last time the Hornets had 2 superstar caliber players on the same team was in the 90's with LJ and Zo. Safe to say if Melo can stay healthy we should be a fun and exciting team for the next 10 years with Melo/Miller. These dudes are both rare talents.
