Mayer wasn't even the best TE in college football. The generational TE is in Georgia. Brock Bowers. Mayer is good but he's not generational imo. Pitts was supposed to be generational and he hasn't looked all that great as of yet.

Washington is too talented to fail imo. A guy that size and that athletic could become a major threat with the right coaching. If nothing else he has shown you he is the best blocking TE in this draft. He would help our run game even more. I honestly see no downside with Darnell Washington.

Trading picks for a coach without a QB on the roster makes no sense. The only way Payton made sense is if he was bringing Brady or Rodgers as his QB. We can't offer him a QB right now.

Do people realize that we are a playoff team if we have Wilks the entire season? He had to clean up the poo Rhule left behind. Keep Wilks just get a OC on the open market to pair with him. Wilks is a leader of men.

No trade up. We can get our TE at #39 the kid from Georgia Darnell Washington. Dude can block and he was underutilized because of his teammate Brock.
