I agree with this. If we sign Chark I don't even won't a WR in the draft. We can get our #1 WR in FA next season. I think CB/TE is what we will look at with pick #39.

Deandre Hopkins is on the decline. Stats don't show it. When he plays he's still a #1 WR. You're calling injury prone but he just played every game last year. The games he missed were because of suspension. So you are saying he's injury prone because of the games he missed the year before. Doesn't add up when you really look at it. It's cool you don't want him, but don't use injuries to say he has declined. He's still a #1 WR when he steps on the field.

Yeah we overpaid for the wrong WR. If we paying that much I wish it was for a younger guy. Theilen is on the backend of his career. People already saying he will be a mentor. You don't pay that kind of money for a mentor player. We need production right away. Hopefully we still add another WR either via trade or draft.

You just answered why we still need to focus on WR. Theilen is a vet who can be a safety blanket for the rookie WR. He's not someone who going to make explosive plays. We most definitely need to keep going after Chark. He can at least stretch the field with his size and speed.

Please tell me he just turned 32... A 3 year deal for a 33 year old WR makes no sense. But when we are desperate for WR help I get it. Trade for Hopkins and I like this move even more.

This thread is getting off topic. The reason I made this thread because I was curious is Cam still planning to play again? I thought he would be done after not playing at all last year. I haven't seen any teams showing interest in him either. That's why I thought he was done playing football.

His rookie season was also his last time having a #1 WR. We failed Cam not the other way around. The man put his body on the line to help this team win. I will never have anything bad to say about Cam. He's not everybody cup of tea though.

Disagree with this. While Chark is injury prone he is still a high end #2 WR who is still in his prime. Thielen had a great career but he's 33 and trending towards more of a #3 WR. He has also had the opportunity of having single coverage because he played with Justin Jefferson. He won't have that here in Carolina. If I had to choose between the 2 give me Chark.

So you blaming Cam for not going to the owner and requesting a change in style of play? Cam had to run we didn't have WR's he could throw to. To change the offense he would have had to had a change in roster. That doesn't just happen with a conversation. That seems like a coaching staff problem.

Not really surprising we met with both. Of course we are trying to sign both of them. They taking other visits so we just have to wait it out.
