I honestly don't even think CJ is the 2nd option. I think AR is their #2 target. There was a rumor posted a few days ago that teams aren't that high on CJ Stroud. The Texans are reportedly looking to trade the #2 pick. We will find out pretty soon how all this shakes out in the draft.

No it doesn't guarantee success considering most Heisman winners are QB's. That's award is basically the best QB on a great team award. There are plenty of QB's who have been better QB's in college than the Heisman winners and they get punished because they play on lesser talented teams. The Heisman is basically a award for power 5 schools which is usually the best QB with a top ranked team.

Bryce Young was the pick the moment we traded for the #1 pick. Due diligence is what we did after the trade. Nobody bridged the gap.
