Im seeing a lot of people say he will get 15 mil at most. OBJ on a bad knee got 18 mil. No way Hopkins is taking less than OBJ. If he is looking at a 1yr prove it deal I think 20 mil is what he will be looking for. Are those contending teams on his list willing to pay that much?

Uhh I mentioned the only WR's I knew by name were DJ/Robby/TMJ. I remember #15 I just didn't know his name.

We got topics about Baker Mayfield, Adrian Peterson, Chubby Hubbert. The Huddle has entered darkness mode.

I don't think the Jets were even on his list anyway. I remember watching a video on YT and they asked him to make facial expressions of the teams he would like to play for. They mentioned the Jets and his facial expression was like he didn't want to play there.

That is true, but at the same time we still are a bottom 5 WR core because of those young unproven guys. We basically have two #2 WR's and a bunch of younger unproven guys. I get the excitement, but we still could use a legit WR. Remember Rookie Cam had his best passing season as a rookie when he had a vet #1 WR in Smitty. We can't turn down talent because you want the others to reach that level. We don't know if those guys will ever be a #1 WR.

I called this the moment they signed Baker. That team is in tank mode. Too bad they would never trade him in this division. He probably ends up on a contender before the trade deadline.

Going to be interesting to see who they like more. I also wouldn't be surprised if Melo is there to workout with both of them. At the end of the day one of these guys will be his future sidekick.

So far the rumors have us favoring Miller over Scoot based on the rumors from the combine. I always said once we work these guys out in Charlotte is when we can start taking these rumors more seriously. I seriously think whoever has a better workout with us will be the guy we pick.

CMC looked pretty healthy with the 49ers. Panthers were at fault for the health of Cam and CMC. We ran those guys into the ground. That's what happens when you fail to put talent around them on offense. Crazy Cam best passing season was his rookie year when he had a true #1. Panthers failed them both.

I never thought Hopkins was realistic. If you read my quote earlier in this thread I said the only way we get Hopkins is if we massively overpay him more than the teams on his list.

Yeah and this is what scares me. MJ could be star hunting just to sell some tickets. Zach Lavine would be exciting with Melo but that move makes us a 7th/8th at best. Klay Thompson is washed and won't be the same player he once was. Jaylen Brown can't dribble and is about to be paid a supermax. No thanks! Just draft Miller/Scoot.
