Nobody is questioning Tmac's talent! Calvin Johnson was a unicorn and he had a QB the Lions sucked for most of his career. The problem is WR impact aren't as valuable as the QB. With the #1 pick you have to take that into consideration. Most of the great WRs today are on bad teams Adams/Chase/Lambo/Hill. This game will always value the QB over a WR. The fact that you're seriously all in on Tmac a WR with the #1 pick is wild to me.

Do you have any other prospects you like besides Tmac? I haven't seen you mention anyone besides him as the pick. I get that's your guy, but you have to be open to other prospects as well.

So because he's a projected top 5 pick he's should be the guy we draft. Yet you say the other 2 QBs who are projected top 5 picks are not worth it because you think they aren't that good. 100% agree. Daniels and Stroud came out balling from the jump. Then you have Nix/Caleb who started out slow, but now they are balling. Then you have guys like Bryce/Levis who just don't have the skills or IQ to be successful. Then again they could just be in bad situations with bad franchises. Baker/Darnold left us and got better. So then you can look at the development part and who's coaching these guys. I can see both sides there is no right or wrong answer here because both the coaches and QB's have to meet halfway.

What FA's are you looking at realistically?

We are awful on defense. The offense is fine when Bryce isn't the QB. We have weapons on offense and a decent Oline. Defense is where we need to improve the most. Tmac can help, but is WR really our biggest weakness right now? I just don't agree with taking a WR with the #1 pick. It rarely happens for a reason.

Have you seen the mock drafts lately? Most of them have us taking a QB. Just because you aren't high on these QBs doesn't mean the Panthers or other teams aren't. Sanders is with Tom Brady brand and that's his mentor. The Raiders owner was with Sanders taking pics at a Vegas game together. It doesn't take much to connect the dots that Vegas will be interested in Sanders as their franchise QB. Oh yeah and guess who hasa small ownership stake in the Raiders Tom Brady. You don't think teams like NY/Las Vegas/Cleveland won't be in the market for a QB? If we hold the #1 pick we can put out signals we are going with a QB unless someone offers us a legit trade up package. Sanders and Ward will be wanted by multiple teams trust me. I'm confident we could trade back if need be. Now if we get the #2 pick then just stay there and draft Tmac or Hunter. The #1 pick is our leverage. That's all I'm saying use it to our advantage if we can. It's possible we could still end up with Tmac in a trade back depending on the team we trade with.

If you don't have the same physical attributes how are you similar? QBs throw the ball if you not similar in physical attributes you obviously aren't similar with your throwing ability. Love clearly has a bigger arm. And honestly Love is on the verge of being a top 5 QB in this league. Sanders is a pocket passer with a lesser arm, but he has the it factor. We seen him in crunch time lead his team down the field and win games. I think Sanders is more Dak Prescott.

If we take a QB that high again it better be our franchise guy because we don't have time to be wasting picks on a developmental QB. I personally would rather just sign a Fields or Winston over reaching on any of these QBs not named Ward/Sanders. Milroe scares me. 1996 was the last time a WR went #1. I'm fine taking Tmac at #2. My only thing is don't take any position other than QB if we are staying at #1. If we want Tmac or Hunter just trade back a few spots. There are only 2 QBs who teams will be fighting over and that's Sanders and Ward. If they want a QB more than us then they will have to give us a good deal.
