That's been my point the entire time! People are so focused on not being contenders. The point is you need to start signing some type of elite talent. A true #1 WR will help Bryce even if we don't believe in him. If he can't improve after we spent money on weapons then we move on. I'm 34 this wait and save money approach gets old after a while. Saving money gets you what you see now a bad product. Anybody who thinks adding a true #1 WR hurts us is sadly mistaken. Moore was still productive even without a QB.

I respect your vision, but I strongly disagree. Relying on the draft to fix your problems is just not a safe way to view team building. You need to hit on the draft and FA's imo.

Nobody has ever said signing a elite player makes us a contender. Like you need to get that out your head. It's common sense this team is not a contender. That doesn't mean we should pass on every big name FA. Some fans just want a few elite players on the roster. There is nothing wrong with that. Again what is your plan just get guys in the draft and hope they develop? So what happens when we actually have money to spend do we pass on FA's again because we aren't contenders? Like cmon man it goes both ways.

OP makes some sense if we talking about helping Bryce. Saquon is still a top 3 rb. He may not solve our problems, but he can definitely help Bryce carry the offense. Not a bad idea @NJPanthers89
