Here's an article presenting the argument that the punishment is excessive. Can't say I agree or disagree (actually, I don't care). But it presents good argument points. First you'll have to convince them that it is a coverage sack & good luck with that. I'm feared that too many Huddlers are too wasted on game day to recognize a coverage sack even when the announcer says something like, "all of Cam's options were covered on that play. That was a coverage sack." lol OMG if we can get posters to just recognize what a coverage sack is, that would be a major improvement. They're not counting the Cowboys' bye week which is the 6th week of the season. So he's suspended for 10 games but it is 11 weeks. Do the players get paid for the bye week? idk

Seahawks have had the advantage of paying Wilson at the rookie scale for a 3rd round pick during the last 4 years. You can't deny that. And I don't think they would franchise him at any point because that would be overpaying. Both Wilson & the Seahawks know these 2 facts. How much do you pay the QB that has taken you to the SB twice and won it once? Does Wilson expect more because he was being paid at rookie scale for 4 years? How much do the Seahawks want to win and do they really think they can do it with Travaris Jackson or whoever they bring in? Can they hit gold in the 3rd round again? I don't know but that they got to the SB twice with him has a lot of weight in the argument. Consider a couple of QB game managers that were cut after their teams won the SB once, Trent Dilfer & Brad Johnson. Both the Ravens and Tampa Bay nose dived after that. I'm sure there were other factors but cutting the QB has to be a factor. Seahawks have a conundrum that most teams wish they had. Personally, I despise the way Wilson throws the ball. Teams will figure out how to get between the WR & the ball before that slow ball gets there. It's a given.

He's a young, large body with game experience but some past troubles. I'd think the Panthers are more family-like friendly than Miami (who allowed the bullying) and SF (who is just sideways weird & getting weirder). Kalil will make sure about that. Simply claim him off waivers with the last year of an unguaranteed rookie contract? Hell yes. Welcome to Charlotte! Two articles I read yesterday help me put this in perspective. Read both {short} articles & you'll see that no one is really paying him any attention. One has him starting 7 games, the other 9.

All I have to say is that I believe in the due process of the law and innocent until proven guilty. Apparently the NFL does not. The landscape is messy and Richardson did what he felt he had to do. People are allowed to change their minds. I'm glad Hardy was able to save his career despite Goodell even if it was with the Cowboys.
