GRWatcher replied to Captain Morgan's topic in Carolina Panthers
@Zod @CarolinaHuddle This happens only with tweets posted by @Captain Morgan. Everyone else's post okay. Help! Is there something I need to do? -

I don't know how you're posting the tweets. I have the Huddle set to dark mode and your tweet posts come out as black letters on a black background. Either I highlight the tweet or fake quote you to read them. Very annoying. Can you fix this? -
I'm not at all sure anyone can fully count the 2020 season. Yes, there was football but it was far from a normal year. Many of the offseason perks a new HC normally gets were not there for Rhule. He hadn't met most of his players until late in the offseason. They made the best of Zoom but he and his staff didn't know the players like coaches should (thus signing many Temple and Baylor alumni). And that affects what decisions are made. Fans didn't know what they had in Rhule. Rhule didn't know what he had in his team. What I saw was a college coach and staff struggling to learn the NFL and their team in an atmosphere reminiscent of the Twilight Zone. So I'm giving him a bye for his 1st year but hope the lessons learned stick with him.

In the 2nd camera shot of him sitting on the sideline I thought he put something rectangular and white in his cheek.

What I saw last night was try outs for backup RB. Thus the goal line plays called. We effectively do not have good backup for CMC and that's just as concerning as shuffling the O-line. When Smitty commented that the reason a good sideline pass worked was because Hubbard actually picked up his block (and they showed a replay!) as if he hadn't been, my heart sank. It was Hubbard's night to shine and he did not. That was the most disappointing part of the game for me.

McDermott vs Reid is the other side of that coin.

WFT has narrowed down their list of potential new names
GRWatcher replied to CanePantherHornet's topic in Carolina Panthers
It was with the NHL. They still exist as the Ottawa Senators. When they moved the team from Washington they didn't change the name. -
Do any of you stop to think that maybe - just maybe - Rhule understands that his words have impact and what he says to the press is just as much if not more so for his players as it is for the fans? Calling out our WRs as a group. Because he knows as a group they are better than they were today and each individual has to take it upon himself to do better with help and encouragement from the group. Without saying so exactly he told them that the Raven cb's are good but as a group they have to be better. He also told them he is watching them and how they react in day #2 is important.

If you go to your live feed on YouTube TV and find TV64 (down just a little from the top of the listing), 7pm today (8/17), it is listed as Panthers v Colts so DVRing it shouldn't be any problem. I missed most of the 2nd qtr and ended up using the Panthers app on my phone but with my bad eyes had trouble seeing any details such as jersey numbers. So I will watch it again.

Thanks @KB_fanfor asking the question. TV64 is available on Charlotte YouTube TV.

There are also ongoing studies in Iceland where the vaccination rate is very high, over 70%. Add in those with natural antibodies from surviving a COVD infection and about 80%- 85% of the population are protected. They have a wave of the delta variant but few hospitalizations and no deaths since May. https://www.businessinsider.com/iceland-proves-covid-19-vaccines-work-expert-no-death-may-2021-8 Jeremy, I hope your youngsters recover well and the entire family stays safe.

And therefore opponents know exactly what it takes to rattle him, execute it ............ and it works. That is a very big liability.

Last year was all screwed up because of COVID, especially preseason, but the first 3 weeks of the regular season had some of the worst NFL football from all 32 teams that I've ever watched. A lot of offside, presnap penalties, db illegal contact penalties, dropped balls, etc. Those are the type of things starters miss when they don't play in preseason games. We may be looking at a rough first 3 weeks again this year.

Thank you!! Loved it!!

When I first joined the Huddle in 2003 there were a few posters that I enjoyed reading and they kept me coming back. Cosmo Girl was one of them. RIP CG. Know the universe misses you.

https://www.linkedin.com/in/mike-craft-15363140/ CTE Teacher and Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line Coach He battled cancer for at least 2 years while with the Panthers and may have just decided that being a full time digital producer was a strain his cancer fight didn't need. I always enjoyed his segments and miss him. I wish him well.

Yes, please. More, please! -
It's the hair, obviously.

I just can not wait for Mixon to call a TD from Darnold to Arnold. The Panthers gave him a reward for his last year.

Is he a Panthers or Cowboys fan?
