It's not just urgency you want but showing energy ala Cam. We want to know he's having fun so we can have fun too. He doesn't have the personality of Cam or even Jake "Cajun Mexican jumping bean" Delhomme. Until he starts winning the battle of the minds ala Brady, we want to see reactions. That may be all unrealistic. He is who he is. As our Head Coach says, he has to feel comfortable in his own skin. Don't hold that against him. What I want to see is our defense hold up in the 2nd half especially the 4th quarter. It's like the life drained out of them last game. Isn't it Defense that wins championships? Show us.

In the last game Seattle's D-line rushed the inside/middle of our O-line at least 3/4's of the time. Definitely the entire 4th quarter. And, of course, it worked because of two new, young starters. It gave Andy no pocket, no time and yet he managed to make a record 58 passing attempts. I hope Bryce was taking notes because I expect every defense we face to do the same thing.

I'm lucky I guess. That's all I can say about my game day experiences. I bought PSL's even before our first draft and held them until Tepper bought the team. That's when I retired and couldn't afford the season ticket price. Put the PSL's up for sale through the Panther's website. Then Tepper ripped out seats in the end zone and a family bought my PSL's and the 2 next to mine. Timing is everything. I probably won't go to another game, money being the problem. I'd rather eat and enjoy the game from the couch. I do miss, though, being in person where I could watch certain players or groups. The TV camera shots suck.

What Tepper really wants, now that he's seen it first hand, is crowd reaction similar to the Charlotte Football Club crowd.

My son will be there. He and a friend are staying an extra day on a trip to the Pacific Northwest just for the game. He'll be disappointed if Young doesn't play.

I did notice that there were a few times Theilen looked confused at the line before the snap and had to reset Mingo so they were lined up correctly and not about to get an illegal formation penalty. Not a good look for Mingo.

Panthers website lists ESPN as the only tv broadcaster carrying the game. I know they have a different game on ABC but this sucks.

If you don't think he was offsides every time he at least twitched and reset himself every time. I would call that trying to draw the defense offsides. What he did do was give the Lions D a heads up about what the play was going to be by where and how he lined up. That I'd be pissed about if I was his coach.

It goes into detail about the after affects Rivera was going through after his cancer diagnosis even 2 years after that diagnosis and gives hints about how the 2022 season was going to effect him. It doesn't mention that he missed any practices in 2022. A person does not instantly recover from cancer treatment and it can take years. Looks like he tried to stay on top of everything but truly wasn't able to. Good on Heinecke to bring Howell to his attention. So cut the guy some slack. I'm not reading the entire post. Lots of whining about footage and BOJ apparently. First, let me clear something up. At the beginning of the hour they said (paraphrased) that they were not going to show any plays. It's practice and they planned on continuing to develop some things. Reich doesn't mess around. I did enjoy all the interviews though. Second, I agree with the live streaming. The least they could've done was have it on a channel with a mobile app or live feed on their website. Especially for fans outside of the Charlotte area. If they continue with WMYT we're all screwed. It should post to YouTube in a couple of days, hopefully.

What @methodtoll posted was the 2nd of 2 hours from Saturday. Here's the 1st hour.

I was disappointed that not much at all was shown of practice. Thunderstorm and storm warnings didn't help either.

I just finished reading the article. Pretty good. Our head coach is a level headed guy who wants to continue learning and incorporating all the new stuff. That he hired Brown and Evero are quite telling. We're in good hands. Frank 2.0
