  2. I believe, but could be wrong: RBs ........... McCaffrey & Hubbard TEs............ Thomas & Tremble WRs .......... Moore & Marshall
  3. I'm not spamming the thread. But for those without an Instagram account, here are the pictures. Curtesy of griffinz_23.
  4. He's tied with ........... Jimmy Garoppolo at 18th. Six of one, half a dozen of the other. https://www.nbcsports.com/boston/patriots/how-all-32-nfl-starting-qbs-rank-madden-23
  5. The one thing I always liked about Rivera was that he, for the most part, let Cam be Cam. He didn't make excuses for him or his off field actions. A lot of head coaches would have tried to squash Cam's personality. As they have with Baker. I don't see how anyone who loved Cam (including me) can not also appreciate Baker's competitive fire and personality.
  6. It seems to have been that way for decades. I like to think it has more to do with our uniforms that contrast well with the other 31 than our play.
  7. ooops COVID has my memories of the years all messed up. I keep forgetting it's 2022.
  8. So he's mad that we solved Cleveland's problem instead of the Vikings' problem.
  9. He chose to sit out the 2019 and 2020 seasons, as was his right, under the NFL COVID protocols. He has a child who is immunocompromised. Don't talk about 2019 & 2020 as if it was because his skills had digressed. Signing Star would give our young defense another successful vet to learn from and look up to.
  10. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf4FrSKuqve/ Instagram apparently won't embed like Twitter but here's the full interview.
  11. @Zod @CarolinaHuddle Welcome back from Twitter! With Sam, Matt and PJ I was not looking forward to the season. I figured, same old same old. But now I can not wait for football to start because, despite all the coach tarot card readers here, I see this season as wide open. Slate clean. Possibilities. Upgraded OL. New QB. Better coaches (except, sigh, Rhule). I want to see what happens. So, yes, I am optimistic too.
  12. Brady didn't have enough NFL experience to make adjustments or, apparently, to get us into the end zone. Although he should have after being an offensive assistant under Payton for 2 years. He's now the QB coach in Buffalo so he may actually get a ring before anybody on the Panthers does. Irony at its best.
  13. Yeah, Panthers official twitter has been very, very quiet only announcing the trade. Maybe out of respect for the Browns? I expected more hype, honestly.
  14. We did it in 2003 with a cocky Cajun backup QB, 2 determined RB's, a WE tandem no one had heard of and a defense who struck "quit" from their vocabulary. Thus, the Cardiac Cats. It was us vs the world. I'm not saying we can but I'm not saying we can't. It'll be fun to at least feel we have a chance to come back in games instead of knowing by the 4th quarter we're going to lose.
  15. Yes! The PLAN, and always has been, is to WIN. They owe that to every Panthers player and fan. I don't believe they sit around, as mrcompletely does, and trade what ifs. That's totally unproductive. Going with the flow is more than an 80's meme. One step at a time and this trade was a gold mine. Baker Mayfield is not a rehab project no matter how you view his skills. He'll either cut it or he won't just like every other player. People saw Cam and Jake as "cocky" but it was more that they believed in themselves and that they could lift the team up and IMO Baker has that same cockiness and I like it. It was depressing that we were going into training camp with Darnold, Walker and a rookie (although a rookie that I like). There's now an excitement in the air and I can't wait for real football.
