  1. We just need to stay patient for a playmaker in 2024. We knew we didn't have one or the ammo to get one. Come this time next year, if we're looking at the same problem, then there's clear organizational issues. The Burns issue lingering is annoying but whatever at this point with him.
  2. He has actually had an ex-GM routinely helping him for about 2 years now. He even paid him on contract for a time being. It's not the name you'd like to hear though.
  3. Person mentioned that there may be discussions about it. It's unlikely given, well no one would want him, but it looks like Hurst and Sanders are on the outs right now one way or another.
  4. If we're somehow able to offload Miles Sanders, that would be funny. His snap count is only going to go down from here on out, might as well see what we can get. Big miss.
  5. 27 y/o Sweat instead of a 2nd rounder next year is nice for Chicago. They can go full offense with the 2 firsts for a new coach.
  6. Per a recent Athletic article, some musings: Before Chinn's injury, IF he would've been dealt, the comp would have apparently been a Day 3 pick. A 4th-6th makes sense given his recent play but just crazy given how valuable we thought he was not even 2 years ago (and how young he is). TMJ could be a release at this point. Best case is a pick swap. Hurst is apparently frustrated. Don't be surprised if we cut the bait with Miles and Hurst sooner than expected. Their snap counts are shrinking and the dead cap situation won't be detrimental. Although it would be an admitted miss on Fitt's end, it's not out of the box given they're not in favor with coaching right now. Tremble and Hubbard has supplanted both for the time being. I don't expect anything from us today. But who knows, you never know.
  7. I like identifying specific players over strategy and the realistic guy for me this next draft is Troy Franklin. He’s exactly the type of receiver we need. Odunze is also amazing but may be out of reach.
  8. I was all in when him, Dorian, and Pratt beat USC though. He's just so damn good, knees be damned.
  9. With Bryce, yes. That just comes with the territory.
  10. Patriots defense is playing tough against Miami. Forcing them to play a bit more hard nosed than all creative misdirection.
  11. People may not like her influence, but I'd prefer this to not turn into just an all out inflammatory thread against her. Locking before it turns bad. Don't see much coming from this
  12. Throckmorton is going to be benched if these coaches want to keep their jobs.
